Quality and thoroughness sorely lacking. I've gone here for years for brazilian waxing, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere after 4 bad experiences in a row. These have included unnecessary pain with peeling (!) afterward, going home with small patches that are still obvious, or an esthetician who was just not thorough with her technique. At roughly $80.00 a pop, you really should get a top notch experience and Wax On consistently fails here.

The appointment system is ridiculous. They've lost my business to other spas multiple times because you have to call them, and then wait for them to call you back . And the website? Please. I've finally decided to give up on this place.

Lost my business.. I've had good and bad Brazilian experiences at Wax On. There was one lady that was AMAZING (I don't remember her name, but she always wore her hair in a gorgeous scarf), but she doesn't seem to work there anymore. When I made an appointment with her, I never once had any irritation. Not so with the other girls. One girl even made me physically uncomfortable. I asked her not to tweeze because it hurt, and because her face was entirely too close to my body. Instead, she insisted on doing it, because it would drive HER crazy. Excuse me?! And don't even get me started on the last girl I saw. She missed so much hair, it took me almost half an hour to go back over it myself with tweezers when I got home!!! Needless to say, she did not get a tip. I'm so incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service and quality. I'm sorry, WaxOn, but I've had enough. I'm going to High Maintenance (heard nothing but good from them!)

Brazilian?. I went to the Kirkland Wax On for my first Brazilian and I would NOT recommend it, NOT THOROUGH AT ALL. The girl who did my brazilian was nice enough, kept up casual conversation, etc. But, as she began she told me to tell her if the wax was too hot, and I did, but she did not adjust the temperature and said something about how "sometimes people are sensitive and it feels hotter than it is," and later that day guess what? I had peeling burned skin. Thank you very much. The whole procedure hurt quite a bit, which I was expecting, but the next day when the redness had subsided I noticed that she missed about 1/4 of what I was expecting her to take off! She spent a little time with tweezers, but when I saw how much she missed I was appalled. I can't believe I paid $70 plus tip for a job I had to spend over an hour cleaning up afterwards! I will never go back to Wax On. Next time I will try sugaring (all natural and can't burn you! and hopefully a more thorough esthetician!)

Amazing. I have been going here off and on for about two years now (I would go consistantly but fluxuating income makes that difficult) and I love it. I have never had a bad experience. I normally have Sara and she is great. Friendly, funny, and skilled. I've told all my friends to come here if they want a brazillian or any other kind of wax and the ones that have love it as much as I do. I don't know about their other locations but the Cap Hill one is great because of there staff and the ease of finding close and free parking. Great place

Seriously! THE Best waxing ever.. Wax on Spa is, hands down (or pants off), the best place to get waxed in Seattle. I've been going here pretty regularly for the last two years. My schedule is so crazy that I'm unable to commit to any one esthetician so I've seen many of the gals here. Everyone is super friendly, confident and seems happy to be waxing. They manage to make a brazillian as comfortable as chatting over tea. Also, I just had my first underarm wax and it's a billion times better than shaving. Ladies, do yourselves a favor and throw away those razors!! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fabulous waxing experience.

Best WAXING. I went to WAX ON for the first time after many years of having my friends rave about it. Helen was fantastic.She truly made what I thought was going to be a painful experience so easy and painless. I highly reccomend you go to WAX ON!!!!

I recommend this place to anyone who will listen!. I have been going to Wax On for the past year after starting at Gene Juarez for my waxings. I am so glad I switched! The girls are much more thorough here and quick! My eyebrows always turn out perfectly, in fact I get comments about them all of the time! The brazilians are quick and well done, I have recommended this place to so many friends. I really enjoy the offer of tequila or whiskey if you need a little extra numbing. I also really like their music selection, they don't play the typical 'tinkely' music that a lot of spas have, instead a great selection of rock, inde, etc

A victim of bad eye brows!!!. I had a brow wax last week at Wax On for the fist time, and it was a horrible experience! I decided to try this place out since I live close by. My brows turned out so bad that I cried after I was done. The esthetician attempted to fix the horrible shape she created three times!!! I had to point out the mistakes for her to understand my brows were not even after the waxed them. Now, my right brow is a round shape and my left is a very bad arch. I HAD nice eye brows and just needed a clean up wax. I can't believe this happened. In addition, I found wax in my hair and on my face. Her incapability to do my eye brows amazes me. I spoke with the manager and she handled the situation but it still did not fix my brows. I'll have to grow them out completely before I can undo the damage she did. Be careful!

Look at my brows - they are fabulous!. I have been to Wax On capitol hill several times and I love it every time I'm there. I have seen Sara, Shelley and Steph - they all wax a "mean eyebrow". Everyone is very thorough and considerate.

I love Wax On because it's not pretentious like so many other spas are. Heck you can even have a swig of whiskey if you're feeling nervous - how can you not love that! I recommend this place for sure!!

Professional, knowledgeable and very friendly service.. I highly recommend Wax On to anyone who wants a quality Brazilian wax. I went there for my first ever Brazilian and have been a devoted customer ever since. Sara is absolutely the best! Her quick technique was as painless as possible. Of course there is some level of discomfort. However, Sara makes every effort to lessen the discomfort; she is very experienced and definitely knows what she is doing. I was quite nervous and scared about the pain factor. Before I had ever been waxed I heard horror stories of bad waxing experiences from around the country. Reassuringly, she took the time to answer all my questions, explain what to expect and provided top-notch follow up care recommendation. I would not consider going anywhere else for my waxing
