There's nothing staid or ordinary about this spa, which caters to a self-empowered, self-possessed clientele of cute girls--and a fair number of gay and straight boys who care about managing the amount of hair on their bodies. Slogans like "What are you bitches looking at?" are on the sexy T-shirts and undies for sale that hang on the walls. Wax On's women are all about girl power, a saucy attitude and looking good.

This in-and-out day spa is aptly named, because it's the expert waxing that draws the crowds (in addition to Decleor facials and lash/brow tinting). Rooms are well-lit, spotless and sanitary, with beautiful ceiling windows. The top-notch aestheticians excel in making clients comfortable as they perform this intimate service and the resulting Brazilian waxes are worth the pain, and so thorough you'll do cartwheels in your bikini to celebrate.

I went to WAX ON for the first time after many years of having my friends rave about it. Helen was fantastic.She truly made what I thought was going to be a painful experience so easy and painless. I highly reccomend you go to WAX ON!!!! Moe

I have been going to Wax On for the past year after starting at Gene Juarez for my waxings. I am so glad I switched! The girls are much more thorough here and quick! My eyebrows always turn out perfectly, in fact I get comments about them all of the time! The brazilians are quick and well done, I have recommended this place to so many friends. I really enjoy the offer of tequila or whiskey if you need a little extra numbing. I also really like their music selection, they don't play the typical 'tinkely' music that a lot of spas have, instead a great selection of rock, inde, etc
Pros: quick and thorough service, booze, music selection
Cons: parking is sometimes a little tricky
