This is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my 65 years. I have frequently driven from the eastside to have dinner at Hot Mama's with my son who lives on Capitol Hill. Hot Mama's brings us together more often.

Pros: Pizza is great and so is the price; very friendly staff

Cons: limited seating

We'd been walking by Hot Mama's for months and finally decided to stop by on the way home from a show late one night. The pizza was really good, the price was right, the service was good, and the atmosphere was appealing to me. There were three no-bullshit type girls working the open kitchen and counter, all singing along to Blur, which my boyfriend loved, and we sat on some stools next to what I thought might be some homeless dudes (probably just gruff and dirty, not homeless). Anyway, these guys were cool and I liked the fact that I was forced to sit next to them, because there's only two tables. I hate how everyone hangs out alone in their little corners these days.

Pros: great place for a quick bite

Cons: must be hard to sit there when busy
