Not bad,but not the best
by MayberryLSD at Citysearch
Decided to give this place a try after reading up on NY style pizza reviews in Seattle,it's not bad, fairly good stuff, but no,it's not the best.I trucked on over to Crash Landing Pizza in Ballard-much better in every department, the pizza Hot Mama's wishes it was.Go try it out if you haven't already and you'll see what I mean.
Best Pizza in Seattle

I work on Capitol Hill, and I eat here at least once a week. You can get pizza by the slice and every type I have tried has been amazing! The crust is awesome, the toppings are fresh, and the combinations are delish! I have seen some of the staff be rude to others, but who knows what sorts of people they have to deal with day in and day out on Cap Hill (used to work on the Ave, know how bad the customers can get). Check this place out!
- Pros: Super Cheap & FAST
- Cons: Not Super Clean Dinning Room (not sure about the kitchen)
Drunk munchies and OPEN LATE!
by chrisnee1 at Citysearch
Hey when you get drunk munchies from bar hopping around capitol hill you should come to hot mamas for a cheap slice of pizza. It's alright. It's not the best pizza I have had but it will really serve those cravings.
I like the pricing and I know a few people who work here so I always like to come and chill. The location is great.
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: .... not really any
AMAZING

The Pesto pizza was so good we went twice in the same day! We were in Seattle for our honeymoon (Alaskan Cruise) and we were starving. We didn't want to go anywhere fancy, or up-ity. This was perfect. Hole-in-the-walls almost always deliver on taste, and Hot Mamma's did. We even programmed the address in our rental car's GPS so the next renter might enjoy it too! I only wish I could order it online and have it shipped in dry-ice!
- Pros: Delicious, fast, great portions
- Cons: Tight quarters
Just say pesto please

This is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my 65 years. I have frequently driven from the eastside to have dinner at Hot Mama's with my son who lives on Capitol Hill. Hot Mama's brings us together more often.
- Pros: Pizza is great and so is the price; very friendly staff
- Cons: limited seating
