Our Favorite Capitol Hill Pizza. We eat at Hot Mama's at least twice a month because we love their pizza so much. It's very convenient to stop in for a couple of slices on our way out--or on our way home. Avoid the ageist, nicotine-addicted Capitol Hill "hip"-sters altogether and order a delicious pizza to go. Hot Mama's rules our tiny pizza world!
EXCELLENT PIZZA!. I have to say I stumbled upon Hot Mama's accidently one day and it is really delicious! They have a great selection of different types of pizza. I tried the Greek pizza and the cheese and they were both excellent! The crust is thin, but really good and the sauce is definitely homemade and doesn't taste generic like the chain pizza places. The pizza melts in your mouth. It is fabulous! The ambience could use a little improvement and there only have 8-10 barstools for seating which is the only downside. Other than the seating the pizza is excellent!

Worst Pizza Ever???.
We have walked by Hot Mama's numerous times and it always smells great and looks pretty good but looks can be deceiving. If you like pizza that tastes like a saltine cracker with a few weak toppings on it, then by all means, grab yourself some Hot Mama's. Our "server" didn't even throw the pizza into an oven to heat it up. Instead it was served to us lukewarm after sitting for what could have been hours and hours under a weak heating lamp. I think that this could actually be a health violation of some kind.
It was kind of fun in a weird way though, only because it isn't every day that you find the worst pizza that you've ever eaten. If you are looking for a "remember that time we ate that awful pizza" experience, then Hot Mama's is your place.
Hot Mama Makes Some Good Pizza.
This is a great place to drop in for a quick slice on your way to a movie, play, concert, or class. It's centrally located and cheap. Seating gets very crowded sometimes, and often you have to wait for more than one or two types of pizza, but it's worth it. Service usually hip and snippy.
Try the green pesto pizza. It may look weird, but it's awesome.
Eccelente!. 3rd best pizza in Seattle; great for by-the-slice lunch in you're on Capitol Hill. Get the chicken and garlic or the tomato and basil if you can!
