Horrible bar staff

Within one minute of waiting for a friend outside of the deplorable bathrooms, I was harrased TWICE by the same waiter. The first time, he yelled at me and my group and friends to "hurry up and finish our drinks." Upon noticing that we weren't drinking anything, he replied: "Oh, nevermind...why aren't you guys drinking anything anyways?" Holding in our frustration and anger, he came back for a second time - this time he decided to yell at us about moving the pieces on a game table outside of the bathroom (something to the effect of, "that was unnecessary, why are you doing that?"). After telling him how incredibly rude he was and that we never were coming back to the bar, he had no reply - in fact he just stared back at us (cleary dead behind the eyes). Dunne isn't so clever after all.

In summary: if you want to be harrased all night by moody insecure bar staff, by all means go to Clever Dunne's...there stocked full of them.

• Cons: The bar staff was horribly rude.

Great Beer, Friendly, Wow! newly remodeled bathrooms!!

I visit Clever Dunnes pretty regularly since it is just down the road! I love going there because the staff is so friendly to everyone who enters! The prices are outstanding and the music is great! The only thing that has put me off in the past has been the bathrooms there. Probably the worst on the hill. I was there yesterday and I could'nt believe my eyes! They have remodeled the bahrooms and they are much nicer. They even put new flooring in. Needless to say. I wo'nt be going home anymore for potty breaks!

Good pinta Guinness, lousy bar staff

They pour a good Guinness, but the bar staff is rude, and slow. And there's way too many overdrunk dipsh*ts in the place most of the time. I'm all for having a good time, but this place has an abundance of "I remember when I had my first beer" types.

If you're 23 and looking for a place to yell for no particular reason, maybe this is the place for you. Not me.
