BAD!!. Had a horrible experience with Beacon--BEWARE!!! Had significant basement flooding coming up through a storm drain and Beacon sent Ned. Ned told us for $350 he would run a camera through the line and try and determine the problem. We authorized $350 for this procedure. Ned proceeded over the course of 4 hours to run numerous snakes and cameras and at the end of 4 hours told us he "thought" that the problem "may" be 150ft from the home but he wasn't sure and that he would come back the next day to tear up our yard and run high pressure water through our lines. He then handed us a bill for $1800--asked us to initial work done and pay him on the spot. We were tired and emotionally drained from the experience of losing all our family pictures and keepsakes and like idots paid the bill. The mitigation company who was on the ground was dumbfounded by the amount of the bill. They had done business with Beacon before and said "you should call the owner--we have worked with them a lot and that isn't the kind of company Beacon is". We called the owner and our calls were never returned. We went to home depot and bought a cap for the drain and yesterday the lines backed up and we flooded again--turns out during the process of snaking the drain, Ned damaged the pipes so badly that the water is now coming up around the cap. Called Beacon. Spoke to Steve the customer service manager who was super nice and said they would stand behind the job and fix the problem. He sent a technician to the house who wanted to charge us $500 to snake the drain again....I called Steve back and said I thought you were going to make this right and he just argued with me. Said that Ned would call me to discuss and of course Ned never called. I just got off the phone with another plumber who said this is how Beacon operates. Charges a ton of money and has absolutely no clue what they are doing. The owner talks a good game on these review sites about customer service but based on my experience their customer service is worse than their plumbing service. BEWARE!!!

The worst crooks in town!!!!. 30-minute service to replace an Hot surface ignition (On the web you can find it for $39.99) on a 12-year furnace charged $318.04 ( needed 5 minutes to remove two scrubs to replace it ) + $75 service charge.

On top of that the guy did a furnace cleanup, also within that same 30-minute, for a price of $98.75! for a total invoice of $ 538.51 Including tax.

Please dont use their services if you don't want to be rip-off.

Beacon Plumbing are definitely Crooks!!. Beacon Plumbing will ripping you off if you have them come to your house for heating or water heater issues. They replaced a high-limit switch on my 3 yrs old gas furnace and charged me $374.22, plus a $100 service charge.. It is very simple to replace this inexpensive part but they over inflated the price to ripping me off.

Check with Better Business Bureau abd you do not even want to think about them let alone having them fixing your heating or water heater problem.

Very SHADY pricing.. We own a relatively new home, built in 2007 and therefore we expect problems to be few and far between. Recently, the cold water started to drip constantly in the master bath tub and eventually became so bad that it could not be turned off and ran like you were filling the tub. I turned off the water at the main and called Beacon. It was after hours... ~ 11:00pm so I agreed to pay the $100.00 'service fee' with the understanding that I would be quoted the full price before any work. Plumber Tom shows up, spends 15 minutes looking at the problem and determines that it is broken and cannot be repaired tonight but 'let me see if I can slow down the leak'. Tom puts everything back together, the leak is slowed and goes to his truck to put together an estimate of the 'full repair'. When he comes back, he informs me that he wants my VISA so he can charge up to $900.00! to replace cold water faucet. $900.00! I say no way, then he proceeds to inform me that I owe him $337.00 for the 40 minutes he has been here. $337.00! No estimate as ever provided, he never said hey I am going to charge you a bunch of money. I asked for an itemized bill and all I get is the run around that they charge by 'task number' from 'their book'. I wish I would have done some more looking around because this a complete scam. I can replace the entire fixture myself, brand new from the manufacturer for < $400.00. I could NOT locate one locally this evening so called them for help and instead I get bent over the table.
