We had never been to Seattle and decided to stay in this bed and breakfast. We were not there long before my husband and I decided we were coming back and especially to this bed and breakfast. Linda is friendly informative and welcomes you as family. She truly loves her guests. When you visit her home, you are treated beautifully. We took a day trip and Linda packed us a thermos of coffee, cups, creamer, juice and treats. We had a blast. She gave us written directions and we caught bus 49 to take us to downtown for more shopping even though shopping is only a block or two away from Linda's door. Great restaurants are only a walk away. Coffee, tea and a guest refrigerator were at our fingertips. Imagine a cold gray day and you return to a warm fire in the piano room. Linda is the PERFECT HOSTESS and we will stay at her bed and breakfast every time we go to Seattle which will be next summer. You are in for a treat and Madeline the dog and Agnes Grace, the cat will give you lots of privacy but are interesting to watch as they like to be together. Also Linda will call a limo or taxi should you need one. We met a great lady when we stayed at her fantastic home in Seattle, Washington.
great little place. This is a perfect B&B for people who like the comfort of being in a small, personal place, but still like to come and go as you please. Linda is a very kind owner, and she gives you lots of privacy while still making you feel welcome. The location is fantastic; you are just blocks from a great strip of restaurants and shops, and only a short walk to lots of fun neighborhoods and bars. In addition, it's very affordable, which is really great for people on a budget who still want to stay downtown. Highly recommended!
Homely, fun and comfortable. I come to Seattle twice a year on business and need a nice place to stay each time. Bed and Breakfast on Capitol Hill offers me just that. Linda Nyqvist runs it; although it is comfortable, it isnt luxurious. It isnt expensive either which is important to my company and staying with Linda offers a huge advantage. She is personable but discrete; she offer good value for money and above all she welcomes you honestly to her home. She is quite a character and has a comfortable house to welcome you to.
