Better italian available in this neighborhood

We went Brindisi for lunch, including us, there were 5 tables full. The server was forgetful and slow to bring our check. At one point we heard the cook scolding the server for something he had done at the register, that was lovely.

The chicken al fredo and the primavera were both terrible. the sauce was watery, the pasta a little over done, and the chicken was bland. Even the parmegan was lacking in flavor.

Like Bengodi (which is far better), the bruchetta is incredible, definitely get that. Of the three of us at the table, not a one finished the meal. We ended up going down the street for a pastry and coffee to finish off the lunch cravings. All in all Brindisi was a very disappointing experience that I won't give a second chance.

Excellent!

I heard about the restaurant from a friend who loved it, so had to try it myself. My friends and I had a wonderful dinner....the food was truly outstanding - real homemade pasta with great flavor, which is suprisingly hard to find. The service was friendly and great, and the atmosphere trendy but comfortable. We all recommend it! It'd be hard to find better Italian food or a better fun new restaurant to try!

Brindisi is absolutely wonderful

The food at this restaurant was exquisite! I had the parma polenta and it was superb. The atmosphere is romantic and they had a great classical guitar player to serenade us while we enjoyed dinner. Service was excellent, someone was always there to fill our wine glasses. Rosanna brought us a desert that I can't for the life of me pronounce but it was also spectacular. Best new restaurant of the year!
