The best Thai food on the West Coast ;]
by TechGuy206 at Citysearch
Mali Thai is the best Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. I gauge every Thai joint by their signature Pad Thai dish and Mali Thai takes the cake. Other amazing dishes include their Red Curry, Garlic Chicken, and Swimming Ramma. The food is consistently good and you always know what to expect when you go here with great prices. If you could somehow box up their food and market it to the world you would collide with millions upon millions of dollars. Trust me on this one.
- Pros: Large portions, scrumptious food, quick service.
- Cons: None
Best Thai around

I have been to many Thai restaurants in the Puget sound area and Mali Thai is our hands-down favorite. Consistently xcellent food, good portion sizes, great food, quick and friendly service, great food, creative atmosphere, and did I mention really good food? Whether dining with just the wife and myself, or with a large group, they have always treated us right. Mali Thai is one of the few restaurants that serve Angel Wings, and they do it the best. Who would have thought a great Thai restaurant would be located between Red Robin and a Best Buy? I hope this place stays around for many years to come.
- Pros: Fantastic food, excellent service, nice atmosphere
- Cons: A little hard to find the first time

Their red curry is the best! I also like their cashew chicken. Their staff is always very pleasant but always very rushed. (Probably just because it's always busy during lunch and dinner.) It's well worth the visit. The only thing I wish they had was a bigger place!
Puget Sound's best Thai food

I cannot praise Mali Thai enough --- not only is their food the best Thai food around the Puget Sound I know, I also believe their service is excellent. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the spices very fragrant without being overpowering, and the presentation just beautiful. Substitutions have never been a problem, and I don't think you can beat the price (+ get quality food for it). I used to go there at least once a week (trust me, the food is addictive) and never was disappointed. Even my daughter, who is usually not a big fan of Thai food, insists that I take home a dish for her whenever I go. I miss that I'm no longer able to go there on a regular basis and haven't found anything as good as Mali Thai in the South Puget sound area. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I always received very courteous and friendly service, and the staff still welcomes me and remembers my name on the few occasions that I have a chance to stop by.
- Pros: very nice ambiance, accomodates mid-size groups, friendly service, easy to find parking
- Cons: N/A
Impressive

I have been to a few Thai restaurants, and I generally go by the recommendations of those who are of Thai descent. This restaurant was a great recommendation from our Thai friend. Those who tout knowing good Asian cuisine are often misled by their very own egos and cannot critique Asian restaurants because they weren't raised on Asian food. Get it? So ignore those other reviews on this page. I took 6 other friends (their first time) and they were very impressed. The service was awesome, the prices were more than reasonable (at McD's you get a full meal for about $6.50 now), and of course, the food is healthier than any fast food restaurant. The average meal is about $7.20 at this restaurant. There are enough cooks and waitresses making your wait time reasonable. When our party was finished eating, we sat and talked for a few minutes more, forgetting there were other patrons waiting for a table. The waitresses were very kind and left us to visit. Go to this restaurant today and see what you think!
- Pros: Price, food, ample parking
- Cons: None
