Not All Authentic, but All Delicious!. I've had several dinners here, and they were all delicious -- especially the seafood! The tom yum had a rich soup filled with plump seafood: scallops, prawns. I had a special with fried prawns & fish, with a sweet sauce & tarter sauce for dipping, not very authentic -- but deliciously crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The phad thai is sweet, the way it should be, but the quantity is a little less than what I wanted. The lunch specials are definitly worth a try, the cashew nut chicken is moist and tastey, but not cheap at $7. The service was fine, and the environment is relaxing with dim lights and a nice decor of bamboo. If there isn't a selection of sauces at your table, make sure to ask for fish and chilli sauce -- a few drops add ten points to every rice meal!

Thai Food?. The food here is not authentic Thai food as the place proclaims it to be. The food is not that great. The pad thai is to sweet for my taste buds and the chicken, fish, and meat have a bad aroma to it. I think this establishment ads a bit of msg to their food. The service is great, but the food is below average in my book.

Garlic Goodness. One of my favorite lunch times places to eat, Mali Thai is a hidden treasure. The service is great and very friendly. It's a very relaxing and intimate setting to enjoy a very flavorful meal. At lunch, they serve a free soup or salad. Try the garlic chicken lunch special. The garlic is not overpowering and the cilantro adds a nice finishing touch to the dish. The pad thai is a little too sweet for my taste though. Other favorites are Satay chicken and Cashew Chicken.

Great food, Great service.. I think it's one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever tried and believe me I've tried lots of them. I just adore their Phad Thai and their BBQ chicken, it's just delicious. Their Phad Thai has a very unique taste not like any other Phad Thai I've tasted. The first time I tried Mali Thai and I ordered the Phad Thai, it looked different from the other Phad Thai's I've seen. But once i tried it, it was delicious! Everyone there is very friendly. Once my family and I walk through that door, we are greeted and shown to our table. Someone whose shown friendliness to me and my family would have to be Penny. She is very nice and sometimes after we're done eating she gives us ice cream! I highly recomend this restaurant as your next stop to experience a somewhat journey to Thailand.

Worth Coming. I love the service here! I made reservation for a family birthday dinner and the waitress, Penny, decorated the table with balloons and banners for us without me even asking! The food is also very good. Try their pineapple fried rice! It is not soggy and salty like some other place. It is just perfect in texture and seasoning. I aslo like their papaya salad, but the thai style is better. The shrimp is sooooo good! IT is big and lightly cripy, without being fried! This is the first resturant that I have been to does this to their shrimp, and I have been to more than a dozen Thai resturants. You should definately give this place a try!!!!!!!!!! Great service and good food!! What else can you ask for?
