Oh My Apple Pie. Wouldn't expect a bar famous for beer and burgers a place you would find fine desserts. I was pleasantly surprised to discover *the most* delicious apple pie I've ever tasted! Served upside-down, warm with ice cream, takes up a full dinner plate and is a meal in itself. Go just for the pie!
Only Good Things Here. I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago just looking for a place to kill some time. I went into the bar and fell in love with the atmosphere. Talk about an outstanding place for the laid back sports fan. However, during games it can loud which can cause the server not to hear you correctly and bring you the wrong drink but that stuff happens. Other than that, the service here was stupendous. The drinks are very expensive, so if your on a tight budget, this may not be a good place to frequent. All in all, this place is great and I looking forward to going back.
The FSG.... My rommate and I frequent this bar for the surroundings and the feel of it. The service could be a little better, and sometimes I would rather spend $3.75 on a drink, but there are always pretty people to look at and a good mixed crowd. I love the atmosphere when we can sit on the couches along the wall or at a big booth and watch the game. The place is always exciting and loud do its a great sports experience!
Bad Service. I went to have lunch at Fox's and had by far the worst, indifferent service ever. It was not worth my time or my money! What a disappointment.
Poor Results.
I just paid a visit to your bar with intentions of staying and watching the Tour de France after I had dinner. After the very poor service that was received just trying to get dinner and basic requests, I felt obligated to leave without spending more money or even tipping. On average I tip 20 percent, yet for me to walk away without ever tipping, the service was extremely poor.
My co-worker and I were seated in a booth after food was delivered, we were never approached about our food or if we needed another drink. This went on for an Hour and a Half.
I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I care to return for a repeat. I will however, adivse my friends of the poor service. You might want to revise your training of service oriented basics for good business.
Sincerely,
James
Upscale Sports Lounge. I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be an upscale bar with a casual atmosphere. It is definitely a place I will visit again when I am in Seattle.
Cool Viewing. Mod digs with cool TVs and update bar. Like the seating options, if you get there early, but can get pretty crowded. Go to watch sports and people watch, but don't go for the food or service. Food has been disappointing, salty nachos, salty chicken fingers and cold meat. It's loud, like you expect for a sports bar, so don' expect to visit over a drink or dinner. Overall fun experience for watching your favorite team and having a drink.
It's a sports bar.. Fox Grill should not be regarded as a fine dining establishment. I know they have dining rooms, but I know better. However for watching a game, drinking a beer and eating things that are supposed to be drenched in ketchup, it's a-ok. Fells a bit like being in Vegas.
Horrible service, nice bar. I really like the atmosphere of this place, but the service and food were far less than what I expected (and what I paid for!!!!). My advice is to go when you aren't in a big hurry (service takes for ever) and when you aren't hungry.
Can you say BAD!!!.
Horrible experience!
Cheese on our Nachos wasn't melted, spinachdip was bland, and the calamari was chewy. Salads had only lettuces, oily dressing and little flavor. We ordered the filet (the large cut), The server told us they cut them and were to be 10 ounces. We got ripped off, my steak didn't look like it was 10oz, it was so small, plus it was well done (I asked for medium rare).
My guests, the same experience, their entrees were not right either. The server tried his best to make it better and he was great, but everything was awful. Even dessert, the melted chocolate cake tasted reheated and was cooked completely through. Tasted like box cake mix to me.
We asked to speak to the GM and never saw him, they told me that he'd be right over but he never came. We were celebrating my husbands birthday, what a waste.
