Horrible Customer Service...THEY ONLY WANT YOUR $$$$$$$$$$. Three months ago my boyfriend and I cancelled our membership with them because they were constantly charging us FEE's that we did not know about. Three months later, they are still charging us. We sent our cancellation form months ago, and yet they are cheating us for our money. The employees are unprofessional and they don't know what they are talking about. PURE FITNESS/LA FITNESS in Renton is highly unrecommended. They will find ways to get your money. They are full of EXCUSES!!!

Amazing Customer Service. I applaud your company. I thought this type of service was only on scripted commercials. I went into your Renton location. I purposely went there with no money because of the way I was treated at 24 hour fitness. I let them know that from the very beginning. To my surprise, they treated me like I was a celebrity. The person that showed me around was James Lomdal (sp??) After spending an hour with me, he gave me a free pass to the club and offered me some personal training. His statement was "let me earn your business". That is just the tip of the iceberg. What really impressed me was when I left the club, I had locked my keys in the car. I had to pick up my mother in 45 minutes and I was in an absolute panic (many tears). At that time, I was greated by Chip. I believe he is in the membership department. He asked what he could do to help. I did not have a reply. He took it upon himself to call a towing company who let me in my car. He paid the $86 it cost for their service. He said "just pay me back when you come back to join". I have not joined yet but I will by the end of the month when I get back in town. I sent this out to my entire company as a customer service memo. These guys really understand what customer service is all about. I can only imagine what kind of service I will get when I pay the money and become a member.

Awful Gym. Unprofessional Jerks. They only care about MONEY.. I absolutely hate this gym. I have been a member of another local gym and went to Pure Fitness simply to get a hip hop class on Thursday nights. I signed up at the Tacoma club by TCC. I went to this one and the one off Hosmer. I was a member for 9 mos and never went. Here is why. Remember the hip hop class I specifically signed up for? Well I went and it was very clearly a specific dance group that held their practice at that day and time. It was adults and kids that had a choreographed routine they practiced and performed at local things like a high school dance team competition half-time break. I actually recognized them and their name from a high school dance team competition that my team participated in. So, in short, it was not this open hip hop aerobics class that was marketed as such and on the schedule. The sales guys are smooth and they are actually the ones to give you your first workout. It seemed odd that this guy was dressed in slacks, button shirt and shoes and was working me out. I later realized he wasn't certified at all. The monthly free workout is a joke. It's a ploy to get you in there and SELL SELL SELL. Turnover is so bad I had a diff person each of my 3-4 times. One guy used my number to call and pick me up, try to get me to come over and told me about some girl he got pregnant at his church. He was also not certified. They told me my ultimate weight should be 138. I worked out at my OTHER gym and got down to 132 myself. I came in and they treated me as if i was a newbie, refused to look up my card, measured and harassed me and told me based on calculations I needed to lose at LEAST 10 more lbs. He was so incredibly rude and demeaning. Continued to refuse to look up my old card and see how much I had already lost and I told him the OTHER trainer said 138 would be perfect for my body type. I cancelled. They continued to bill. Turned me into collections. When i call they admit it's their fault. But they cannot fix it. HOURS SUCKED ON WKNDS!

Highly Recommend if Looking for a Club. My husband and I just moved to Renton & went gym "Shopping" and stopped by Pure Fitness. From the second we arrived Patrick and Nick took us under their wing. They were extremley helpful and answered all of our concerns. We cancelled our Bally's membership and gladly joined Pure Fitness. The trainers seem involved in wanting their members achieve their goals. I don't have enough space to give you 1/2 of the examples in which persuaded us to leave Bally's and find a new home @ Pure Fitness. Keep up the great work PF. We are "SOLD" on their services. 4 days later my legs still hurt. Thanks alot Patrick.
