Lynnwood >VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle
We've had nothing but great care from this hospital, when it comes to emergency, they are swift and caring, we have had to deal with them for over 5yrs with our little chihuahua who had a neurological terminal disease and she spent many nights here and the care was great. They impressed us with their caring attitude. And when the time came we had to let her go, she wasn't going to get any better they were loving and gentle! I recommend them for long term and emergency care.
VCA Emergency vet in Lynnwood.
They nearly killed my dog!!!
I brought my 13 year old lab/shep mix in late on a Saturday after she became very dixzzy and could not get up. I was told she had Vestibular disease and they recommended I put her to sleep. due to a shift change it was a good hour before I could see her to say goodbye. When I finally went in to lya dowen next to her and hold her, she felt my stress and jumped up demanding we leave now. this was not a dying dog. I told the vet she was not killing my dog. they took me into a room and gave her a shot for the dizziness and took a Urine sample since she had a bladder infection. None of this was discussed with me as a possible reason for her dizziness, yet the wanted to kill her. she bounced back once the infection started to clear and has been fine since. this place is scary. How many loved pets have they killed that were just fine!! Be afraid!! and question everything!!
VCA Veterinary Specialy Center. We brought our dog Chewie in to hospital with heart failure. They went to work on him immediately. We were very impressed with how they tried to save him. Sadly we lost him. Our bill was not out of line with what they did to try to save him. I do not know what kind of fees we would have received if they were able to revive him. He lived a good life and I guess it worked out for the best as I am not one to spend thousands on an almost 14 year old dog. We loved him and miss him but are happy to know that he is romping around with all our other loved pets in doggie heaven.
Saved my GrisGris life..... The moment we walked in the door they took GrisGris and began treatment immediately. She has a rare auto immune disorder called Thrombocytopenia and could have bled out at any time. The doctors were kind and through, and explained every thing step by step. The nurses and vet techs made sure she got her meds and food on time. I was able to visit her every day. She was never, ever afraid, because she got so much love. It took a week but she steadily got her platelet count back up out of the danger zone. They were not over priced, actually very reasonable, and never once hounded us for money for the bill. There is no where else I would go if any of my three dogs every needed specialized care. The reception staff were incredibly kind, even finding our insurance forms on line and printing them out. They all went the extra mile for my puppy.
A complete joke!. This place is a ripoff. Run away from them as soon as possible. They overcharge for everything, and explain nothing. They were insistant my dog had liver cancer, not even close. They wanted to do a liver biopsy, I insisted they not touch my dogs liver. They accused me of not loving my dog enough to want the best for him. Give me a break, these people should be run out of town. My only regret was not looking at citysearch reviews first. I would have saved thousands!
Ready for a rip off?. Worst veterinary clinic ever. I brought my kitten in because she was not able to keep food down. Keeping her overnight on IV fluids the bill the following day was about a grand. The thing was, nothing had been accomplished because in order to perform more tests and as they put it "a possible operation" it would cost an additional three grand. They then gave me the option to relinquish my kitten ie give up my rights to her so that someone from the hospital could adopt her and take over financial responsibility. They made her situation seem so dire and said "it was the best choice for ___". When I arrived the next day to say goodbye to her, a woman mouthed the words to the receptionist "Make sure they pay first". Once paying the ungodly amount, I was moved to a room in which they brought my kitten. She had returned to her normal frisky self. When I chose not to relinquish her and take her home so that I could continue my search to find another veterinarian the tech came in, not the doctor, with medicine for worms and gave me instructions on how to administer them. I was in shock. Worms? No one had even mentioned worms. Now she is home and perfectly fine. If you're seeking a 24/hr vet in the area DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this hospital. I reccomend ACCESS in Lake City so much more.
