My husband and I moved across town but because we were moving out of our townhouse with a number of very heavy items (and we promised our friends when we moved IN to said townhouse they wouldn't have to help us move out) we decided to hire a moving company. I looked on Yelp at reviews of Jordan River and, frankly, thought most of the bad ones (I read the negative reviews first to see what I should look out for) were pretty bogus. Look, moving across the country is a pain; I've done it and another company I used delivered my belongings over a week late. It happens with other moving companies, too (not that it should, but it does)! What set JR moving apart for us was the fact that they would move some specific items that other companies wouldn't. JR Moving was upfront with their prices, we knew what it would cost before we hired them. They arrived within the window that was designated, were very efficient, courteous, professional, and respectful of our belongings! Because we moved on a weekend we knew there would be a minimum time for which we would be charged and that makes sense. I would absolutely recommend them!

can't recommend Jordan River highly enough. They moved me from a 2 bedroom apartment to a luxury building 60 blocks away in less than three hours! We had about 30 boxes and a bunch of furniture. They showed up on time, packed away everything safely and at lightning speed. They even packed various unique or breakable items that we'd been afraid to pack ourselves, and got it all to the new place without a scratch on anything -- all without breaking a sweat and much MUCH cheaper than the competition! Scheduling the move and getting boxes delivered ahead of time was a breeze. Everyone I talked with was extremely professional, courteous, and outrageously efficient. I will never use another mover!

This is my third move with Jordan River - and each has been excellent. The movers were timely, very courteous and very flexible with listening to us dictate what needed to go where, etc. We had enough stuff this time that it ultimately required a second truck, but they were able to overcome this speedbump without having to make any adjustments to to the pickup or delivery schedule. Perfect! Very, very worth the money for the convenience of having a move safely and quickly done. Highly recommended...

What can I say? I'm happy with the job these boys did on our move. They are fast, efficient, reliable, honest, polite, and took good care of our belongings. They even looked for ways to save us money. I thoroughly recommend them.

We used them to move from a 3 br apartment to a 3 br house. These movers were super quick. They didn't stand around talking outside or anything like that like some movers do. And they were very courteous and professional.

I can say I am definitely a fan of Jordan River Moving. It's been a few months since my move with them but unpacking took me forever. Next time I hire movers I will ask for the unpacking service. I had never heard of this company and I was a little worried at first because they didn't have a lot of great reviews but they were referred to me by a friend from Microsoft and I also found them on Angie's List. I did a lot of searching with companies as this is my first out of state move. I just started a brand new job and my new employer was reimbursing me and they even offered company invoicing which was new to me. They came to my home and put the rate in writing. I got a discount for being a primecard member. They did a great job as far a moving was concerned and only one small item was broken which was covered by the insurance I purchased. I recommend them and will use them again.

Our movers from Jordan River and Storage were punctual, courteous and hard-working professionals. Before booking them I heard they mostly quoted a reasonable price. On the moving day everything was put in place and came out in a perfect shape, and the work was performed under low price that we were quoted and I appreciate that. I truly admire them for their willingness to work so hard and tirelessly in what is typically a demanding and stressful job. I'm concerned that other people might have the same thoughts when planning to relocate as to what other moving company to use because I truly believe that they are a bunch of sincere and honest guys.

Professional, courteous, and efficient. I've used other movers over the years, but based on the chorus of positive reviews here decided to give Jordan River Moving and storage a try, with excellent results. I don't think they're the cheapest in town, but they're definitely the best all-around choice.

Don t even bother calling any other company. They were everything all the reviews claimed they were and then some. Not only are they fast, organized & efficient Sean and his crew were pleasant to be around. I never have easy moves and this one is no exception. I had to move most of my things into two different storage facilities, the first one having 3 different units. They handled it like they pros that they are. And Last but certainly not least their prices are fair and honest. I know because for all the moves I ve done recently they quoted me the least, but gave me the MOST for my money. I like them so much I m having them do part 2 of my move which includes a dishwasher and storing a refrigerator. I agree with whoever said they wished we could give more stars. This was a 10 star service.
