Fun atmosphere. Their food is not great, but good. Same goes for the margaritas. But the atmoshpere is fun and the staff is great - good service.

Why is this getting a 7 when.... Azteca is getting a 9? I really dislike Azteca and most people that like Authentic Mexican food would agree with me. Ixtapa at Redmond Ridge is beautifully painted, comfortable, always busy and the service is NEVER bad. I live in Redmond Ridge and eat there once a week. The bar area is especially good. They give you not just salsa, but free taco stuffs to dip your chips in. They also have a great tequila selection and the margaritas rock. The happy hour specials are awesome, too. This place deserves at least a nine, if not higher. Best of all, Ixtapa is Mexican, not Southwestern "flare" or Texican as most of the other restaurants are around here.
