Poor service coupled with an outrageous price

The front office is not experienced in understanding the problem and sent a plumber for a fireplace issue. As a result I ended up paying for a fruitless visit. The plumber did give me a quote of $400 to replace a screw in pipe. When I asked where the price came came from - I was told that it was a flat fee regardless of the complexity of the job. Essentially, the customer pays a fee with the worst case built in - even if yours is a simple job. Poor service coupled with an outrageous price.
