Roadie's Review

by gwaltney53 at Citysearch

Roadie's? ahhhh. A trifecta of Q. Beef, Swine and Chicken. Getting any one of them right is worthy of praise. All three? We are not worthy!! I recommend Roadies.

  • Pros: Ribs
  • Cons: Average beans, but good.

Finger lickin good bbq!

by runyoy at Citysearch

I have to say i love this place. Their bbq is awesome and i've tried almost everything. I'm not a huge brisket fan but even that's pretty good. their sauce is amazing, tangy not too sweet and a good amount of spice. The ribs were so good and fall off the bone tender, and the pulled pork and the baked beans... I've gotta go, Rhodies is calling my name! Only con is they aren't open on the weekends nights.

  • Pros: Service, deliciousness
  • Cons: No inside seating and not open enough hours (weekends)

Great Food!

by shaferry at Citysearch

These guys know how to smoke meat, make sides and keep the costs to a reasonable level. Most Seattle BBQ is following the lead of the Food Channel, making fancy barbeque in a fine dining package. That ain't real BBQ as I know and remember from growing up on the Mississippi River!

The only thing missing from an authentic presentation is two slices of Wonderbread wrapped in wax paper (for use as a knapkin then dessert).

  • Pros: Good value, Great beans, slaw, Friendly
  • Cons: no seating

Best Sandwich in Town!

by rainshark at Citysearch

I haven't had too much BBQ around town, but the two places I've been to - supposedly in the top ten on this site - don't compare to this place! The bread is super soft, and the sauce has great flavor without being too tangy or overwhelming. When I go, I try to get there on a Wednesday for their brisket special. They also have ribs, but I haven't tried them yet.

  • Pros: excellent service, authentic BBQ, large portions
  • Cons: , no seating
