Seattle >Westside Barber Shop
Super fun spot with great people.
Best haircut I've gotten in Seattle, hands down!
This is a great little shop in the middle of California Ave. with a really nice staff who takes the time to give you the haircut you really want!
I have had a few different stylists here and each one does a fantastic job. Even if they're busy, it's worth the wait.
I always feel welcome and like they appreciate my business.
A really cool place and a good haircut!.
This was my first time at Westside Barber Shop and I have to say I was very impressed. The shop was bright, clean, and welcoming. I walked in with no appointment and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who told me that it was no problem and someone would be able to take me in about 5 min. Awesome!
The barber was Rachel who was very professional, fast, and did exactly what I asked for. At the end I was offered a rinse and quick style.
This was a great experience. I was in and out in under 45 min. with a great haircut, and a new favorite place in West Seattle!
Fun shop, great service!.
Westside Barber Shop is always a great experience. The staff is extremely talented and friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and you get the best cut for a great price!
In almost a year of seeing the stylists at Westside I have never had a bad cut or bad attitude!
My hair always look good when I walk out the door, and just as good the next day!
The Best. What an awesome place to get your hair cut!! I'm a local performer and my hair always needs to look great, So this is where i choose to go!! they always do an amazing job!!! You won't be let down!!!
AWESOME HAIRCUTS. MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN GOING TO WESTSIDES SISTER SHOP BORSENO'S IN THE U. DISTRICT FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS. WE LOVE THE AWESOME CUTS, STAFF, AND PRICES. SO, WHEN FRANKIE OPENED WESTSIDE, WE HAD TO CHECK IT OUT. WESTSIDE IS SO COOL. IT NOT ONLY OFFERS THE GREAT QUALITY AND APPOINTMENT OPTION AS BORSENO'S- BUT IT ALSO HAS VERY GOOD OFF STREET PARKING! SHE EVEN ROTATES HER STAFF, SO YOU'RE MOST LIKELY GOING TO SEE A FAMILIAR FACE.
The worst haircut I've have ever received in my life. I walked in on a Saturday and asked for a basic #1 buzzcut. The inept barber I was given, Rachel, whom I had never seen before, didn't bother listening to what I wanted and did what she wanted to do -- a bizarre, ugly experiment that involved hedging the hair on my crown into the rigid shape of a square. Odd, huh, because the whole purpose of a buzzcut is the roundness of the shape, which is what I desired. Rachel talked the talk extremely well, and in the moment I believed her snow job about using 3 different clipper blades to "texturize" my hair, which already had plenty of texture on top. In turns out, she didn't know what she was doing. The blend was ugly and would have gotten an F in any barber college. The cut she gave me might have looked OK on a hulking footballer or state trooper; I, however, have a slender build and dark eyes. Mowing my crown into a square completely shut down my face -- this was a grossly unflattering cut given by a barber who just didn't care. To add insult to injury, she charged me more than double what I expected to pay. I ought to have protested then. A buzzcut is 10 dollars, why was she charging me 22? It wasn't until I got home that I could fully see just what a bad job Rachel had done. I have since complained numerous times to Frankie, Westside's "rock n roll attitude queen" owner for a refund, but Frankie is too much of a swindler to issue one. Currently, Westside is being investigated by the Bet. Biz Bur., case # 22217548.
This place rocks!. Frankie and her staff are unbelievable. The music rocks, the haircuts better and the energy in there is great! I love supporting local business owners and I'm very happy to support this gem in West Seattle!
