Amazing Food, College Prices.
Best Indian/Nepalese food that I have had in Seattle, with shockingly low prices for high-quality food. The atmosphere is very casual and fun, and the food--ooooooh, the food. I will crave Annapurna for weeks, even immediately after a dinner there.
I recommend their lunches: the menu and portions are the same, yet the prices are lower than at dinner.

I crave it for days after I've eaten it..
Best chicken tikka masala (butter chicken) on Broadway. Their naan is like every other. go with a group and you'll get to try even more dishes. This is a great place for an early dinner with a small group. Then you can people watch and walk off the meal down Broadway when you're done. Did I mention it's cheap too.

Shockingly good food.
Having vacationed in India, I have to say that the food here comes pretty damn close to traditional-tasting Nepalese / Indian fare. The spices are just right, and the flavors burst with the kind of deliciousness that only real home-cooking can bring. I've never had even a mediocre meal here.
The ambiance is pretty low-brow (just like real Indian resturants?). It's a basement-level establishment, and this can turn some people off. Whie I understand that, please give this a try. The dishes are amazing.
You won't find typical Americanized "Indian" food here - there is no buffet with giant, slopping portions of unrecognizable brown lumps. They do offer the standard stuff like Chicken Tikka Masala, but that's one entry out of a hundred more intriguing ones. People seeking the standard pseudo-Indian glop that you find in enormous catering trays heated by little sterno lamps - well, you won't find that here. Everything is cooked, and cooked well, to order. This may be off-putting to some.
I strongly recommend the paneer [whatever]. Paneer is a handmade Indian cheese, kind of like tofu (except, while I hate tofu, I really enjoy paneer... go figure). They will happily make anything to order that you like; I've gotten paneer in curries that weren't on the menu.
Ask for a large chai tea, as well. They brew it the Indian way; with milk. It comes out piping hot and blindingly sweet, the way it should be.

perfect food, great service.
I LOVE the food here... never disappointed! I am a huge fan of chicken tikka masala and this place makes it better than any other place I've tried in Seattle. The ambiance is a little lacking, but the staff is so friendly and helpful, and the menu terrific.
