ITS NOT WORTH IT! LOUSY and EXPENSIVE. Monday night, I decided to try this place because i saw so many positive reviews. Then it turn out to be a disaster. I and my friend ordered New York Steak $19.95 and Iron Steak $16.95. Both are really just cheap food and horrible. If you wanna see if i'm lying, go ahead and spend your money. There were only 2 tables with customers. Its just EMPTY and i bet its going to close down soon.

Editorial Review. Surf and turf is the theme at this grill with a menu full of steamed clams, burgers, gumbo and steak.

Great food, Great prices. We tried this place for the first time last night, and it was great. They do take reservations, which was nice. It was busy, but you would probably wait 10-15 minutes without a reservation. Food was great, and they have specials with lots of fresh seafood. I had the beef tenderloin/filet mignon, for only $20, and it was delicious. They could have a better wine list, but the food was great!

BEST PLACE FOR FOOD AND FUN IN LYNNWOOD!. Not only is the food delicious and UNDERpriced but the vibe there cannot be beat. I had great appetizer and even better dinner. The bar scene was perfect: laidback, lively, and with great music!

Happy Atmosphere, Great Waitstaff, Food Not So Good. Boyfriend and I went there on a weeknight out and hoping to find a place we'd like to return to in the future. The menu had great choices, the atmosphere is open and casual, the staff is friendly and attentive and judging by everyone's loud laughter... the drinks are heavy. The food was poor at best. I had crabcakes with rice pilaf and my boyfriend had a beef stirfry dinner special which featured the same rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was both over and undercooked in an unpleasant way. Crab cakes are bland and pretty small for the price of the dinner. Sorry to say this is not a restaurant I plan to return to even if someone paid for it. I'm sure the food is better if you are sitting at the bar, or it sounded like the happiest customers were there.

Awesome Steaks and Seafood. A great family dinning expierence with good live Jazz on Saturday nights. They are so much more than just a hamburger joint, and once you try the finner dinning menu you will be hooked for life. The executive chef really knows how to make the specials..... special.

Great for any occasion!. I disagree with the other review that Maddox has gone downhill. I think they have only improved with the move north, keeping the finer dining items(like great halibut preparations!) and adding more sandwich and appetizer options on the casual end. I can now go there for happy hour fare and drinks, or a nicer meal with my family. Everyone that has joined me at Maddox has loved it! And they now have live music on Saturdays, where you can hear some great jazz or blues.

An Excellent Place Now Just "OK". When the Maddox Grill was located in Edmonds, it had a quaint charm and sophistication that made it one of our favorites for special occasions. Because of the atmosphere, you never saw kids. This was also a place that we recommended to friends.

Since relocating to Lynnwood, the Maddox Grill & Bar has put more emphasis on Bar than Grill. The atmosphere reminds one of Appleby's, only with a lot more TVs. The favored appetizer is gone along with the intimate lighting. Instead of couples or small groups having a romantic or elegant meal, one is now seated in an ugly booth with brighter lighting. Even the staff isnt as attentive as they used to be. This is no longer a place we would recommend to friends.

While we may understand why the Maddox Grill made these changes, we're disappointed that our favorite restaurant has disappeared.
