youll be sorry.. if you are starving, go for it. if you have the option of making a better choice, make a better choice. this place has mediocre food at best, but that's not even the worst thing about it. whatever you do don't order take-out- you wont get what you ordered. the salmon has tons of bones in it. one star of heat = 3-4 stars here. & if they f up your order, don't expect them to give a sh*t. ive gotten several wrong orders & after tonight, i wont allow them to another chance. id prefer to give my cash to a place who deserves it. personally, i think its a bunch of kids "playing" restaurant.

it's hard to make bad thai food, but they manage. The pad thai here was so bad that I couldnt eat it.

I am fairly knowledgeable about food, but not a snob, and I recommend you spend your hard earned dollars on one of the better thai restaurants around.

Big Improvement in Thai Restaurant Concept. Jai Thai Broadway, is a unique concept in Thai food eatery, I went there this past Friday around 7:00 and the place was packed and I had to wait about ten minutes at the front door and the really nice boy (Matt) I think his name was, seated us in the bar. I ordered a drink from a very friendly bar tender named Aaron who was very attentive the rest of my night. I ordered the best Phad Kee Mao I ever tasted, the noodles were smokey and tangy with a peppery 3 star zest and they sat well in my stomach the rest of the night. A live jazz band struck up a tune in the corner and took me through several dozen fork fulls of the generous portion before I new it I had been there two hours. I will return as often as I can.

It's all about the noodles at this Capitol Hill favorite.. In Short
With its ornate decorations and dependable menu items, this Broadway Thai restaurant draws a steady crowd of Capitol Hill hipsters to its bar and dining area. Homemade noodles elevate the otherwise standard pad thai and take center stage in the savory drunken noodles. Spicy, comforting tom yum soup is chock-full of vegetables, meat and tangy lemongrass.

slimiest pad thai ever. Seriously. The slimiest EVER!!! The noodles were so gross. First they brought me someone else's dish. Then they replaced it with what was supposed to be my order, but it was chicken pad thai instead of the tofu pad thai I'd ordered. Good thing I'm not vegetarian because I didn't figure it out until too late. I ate it anyway. It wouldn't have been any better with tofu. I muddled through half of it and vowed to never come back.

Run in the opposite direction. please do not go to this place. the food is DISGUSTING. the pad thai is slimey and tasteless, a total waste of 10 dollars. the swimming rama was also gross the peanut sauce was complete liquid, no texture and the spinach tasted unwashed. the meat in the panna curry was was like beef jerky i couldn't swallow it. they have the worst tom kha soup ever! there was no spice, all the veggies were completely raw. the waitress was completely oblivious, a customer came in by herself, the waitress sat her, but never came back to the table! the lady waited about ten mins before she finally left. i can't believe this place is actually open, they should be very embarassed.

Not the same Jai Thai. What happened? Both the Jai Thai in Belltown and in Fremont are two of the most consistent establishments in the area so it should be assumed that this location would follow. Despite sharing a name, nothing could be further from the truth. The service was weird - no one knew what I had or hadn't ordered. I got two of the same drink at the same time. The evening menu is limited to stuff I don't crave and what I ordered came out runny and under-cooked. A week later, I tried again and had similar results; only this time there was a homeless man who was being asked to leave. This location needs to step it up to honor the Jai Thai name.

Never go back again.... Service is super slow! I wasn't impressed with their lunch combo at all. There are so many better restaurants on Broadway. Why waste your time and money here?

It's ok.... I walk by this restaurant often on Broadway, and finally gave it a try last night. The service was slow, despite the restaurant being half empty. A friend and I ordered 3 dishes, and the only one that tasted decent was the Phud Thai. The "Garlic Prawns" order was seasoned with black pepper, so strong I could not even taste any garlic. The beef salad was ok, but nothing special. With all the Thai restaurants in the city, I won't be going back to this one.

Service as chilly as the temp in the room. Where do I begin. It took our server several minutes to bring us water. After we ordered I had forgotten that we ordered beverages, because it took so long for them to get to our table. Other people had walked out because they were tired of waiting, I wish that we had joined them. The temperture in the room was cold, and I have to say so was the service. The food was rather blan. Over all this was one of my top then worst dinning experiences.
