Super excellent Thai massage, plus other styles..

by ultra3 at Citysearch

I have had some bad massage, some so- so massage, and then there is super-excellent! Seriously, Nityia is the real deal. She knows and intuits the best way to release the seemingly immovable muscles. First, she listens to your story, making sure to hone in on what ails you that day, then she proceeds without hesitation, full of energy and zest. Thai and deep tissue combinations turn out to be the perfect release. I highly recommend Nityia, she is knowledgeable, concerned, skilled and pleasant. If you are a distance away from Beacon Hill, she is worth the drive!

Review of Traditional Thai Massage and Nityia

by Jim T at Citysearch

I have been visiting with Nityia for almost 2 years for traditional Thai massage. When I came to my first session, I was suffering from a number of lower back pains and stiffness throughout the shoulders as well poor circulation in the lower legs. Today, I am pain free in my back with dramatically improved flexibility in my 58 year old body. I owe this to Nityia and the counseling and inspiration she provided me over the 12 sessions I had with her. A true female entrepreneur, she has very good knowledge of the human muscular/skeletal structure and is also very fit and cross trained athlete.

Because of her recommendations, I have also taken up Vinyasa Yoga to augment Thai massage.

The location of the studio is very convenient to downtown Seattle and is right off I-5.

Amazing Massage

by BarleyBlair at Citysearch

Usually by the time you've seen a massage therapist three or four times they've fallen into a routine. Not so with Nityia. She responds to what she finds, so every massage is different from every other, and she's sensitive to emotional as well as physical states.

I have a lot of experience (as a client) with deep-tissue and Swedish massage, so I can easily compare Nityia to other massage therapists in that vein. She's hands down (no pun intended) one of the three best I've ever had, and by far the best in Seattle. She's strong, so strong she'd be scary if she weren't also so skilful. She's dogged. Many therapists have only a few things they know to do for any one part of the client's body, and they give up after doing those few things. Nityia has a huge repertoire. I came to her with an old, old injury, and she's been doing wonders for me.

Thai massage was completely new to me, so I have no basis for comparison, but I've loved it. (We usually do 45 minutes of what I think of as "ordinary" massage and 45 minutes of Thai.) With my eyes closed, I'd swear that she had invited in two or three silent, capable assistants to help her stretch me and pull me like new dough. I leave feeling light and supple.

And she's an interesting, decent, likable person who's enjoyable to be with. I speak as a confirmed massage junky -- Nityia's the real deal.

Great Combination of Deep Tissue and Thai Massage

by HappyIrishman at Citysearch

Extremely knowlegable, fit, sensitive, pleasant and caring therapist. Combination of deep tissue and Thai massage was outstanding - did wonders for my neck and shoulders. Her beauty (spirit and otherwise) also made for a great experience. I'll be back. Thanks Nityia - you're the best.
