Creative, Fast, Tasty Fare. I was at the spa next door on my lunch break and needed a quick bite. I hate fast food and would call myself a savvy diner. The pork loin sandwich is amazing. Adding cilantro, carmelized onions and apricot aioli is very inventive in my opinion. And where do they get that bread!? Please try it, these guys are so friendly and the food is amazing. Also, I found parking right in front and along the side street to the west. Enjoy!
Holy crap, good food on the Cap. I work right on the line between downtown and Cap Hill so I'm all too familiar with the offerings of the immediate vicinity. Freeways areas generally dont make for culinary delights, but this place was seriously amazing. Maybe it was just because I was famished, or possibly because I've been eating the same turkey sandwiches for the past week, but The Baguette Box was truly spectacular. I had the Drunken Chicken baguette; it was excellent and very filling. The staff was friendly and attentive, the shop (though not quaint) was clean and inviting, you can actually see them cook your food, and the prices were reasonable. I picked up the tofu offering for my vegan friend and she loved it. We were at work and simultaneously called each other to express our delight. Good times, good times indeed.
heavenly tofu. The tofu sandwich is only 2.95, and is the BEST thing I have eaten in a long time. Perfect.
