Get the Tatstrami. The cheesesteak is
fine and all, but I've had everything on the menu and I keep going back to the Tatstrami - no coleslaw with extra meat is my favorite, even though it hurts the wallet.
Do be prepared to wait in line if you come during peak hours. You'll be waiting outside if you come at noon on a busy day. The line moves reasonably fast, but it can take 20 minutes or more to order, and another 10 before you can eat.
DISGUSTING!. 3rd bite, second half of my steak and cheese sub, I found myself chewing on a USED BAND-AID!
THIS EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AT TWO OTHER RESTAURANT IN PIONEER SQUARE THAT DAY! AFTER GETTING A REFUND THIS PERSON HAD THERE FRIEND ORDER ANOTHER STEAK TO GO> TOTAL SCAM ARTIST!
Tat's Deli is amazing. Recently back in Pioneer Square for work, and I have to say it's good to be home... Good ole Tat's Deli is just as delicious as when I moved from here back in 2005- Gawd they make a freakin' great sandwich!! Comfort food = Tatstrami!! A newbie back at the office, I was trying to impress the staff and ordered Tat's delivery for the monthly accounting meeting (which was free delivery!) and I've got to admit- they made me look real good. Thanks for the popularity points Tat's, we'll order from you again and will now have something exciting to look forward to at the meeting next month!
Best Cheesesteak in Seattle. Best Cheesesteak in Seattle... truly Philly style!
Best sandwich i've ever had.... Wow! So upon reading reviews and gathering info from friends I finally decided to eat at Tat's. Easy to find, just one block from the Pioneer Square metro station, tucked nicely into the other beautiful brick buildings in Pioneer Square. I've been craving pastrami and I heard that the "Tatsrami" is amazing. I went in with nothing else on my mind but the Tatsrami and so that's what I ordered! I got there at 11am, no line, as a matter of fact I was the only person in the joint. I sat down and upon my first bite I became hooked! WOW...what flavor! The meat was great, the Russian sauce and cole slaw complemented the meat perfectly. The bread was just right! I'm a fan and I will tell everybody I know about this place!
Yummmmmmmm. Awesome, so good, loved it, want more, will be back tomorrow. I am full, yet I want to eat another Grinder.
Best Philly cheesesteaks in Seattle!. OMG, OMG we loved it. We have been looking for a great lunch place and have found it. The last good Philly cheesesteak place on the West Coast was in Cali. You have to try it out!
A labor of love for two transplants from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, this laid-back East Coast deli specializes in authentic Philly cheesesteaks and subs..
In Short
Don't be scared by the line stretching out the door of at lunch time--the always friendly, easy-going crew at Tat's moves like a well-oiled machine, assembling massive, delicious sandwiches with ease. Homesick east coasters line up for genuine Philly cheesesteaks (you can stick with provolone or "get your Whiz wit" with Cheese Whiz). The real star is the Tat'Strami (aka "Crack Sandwich"), a sloppy, coma-inducing combo of pastrami, coleslaw, melted swiss and Russian dressing.
Best CheeseSteaks in town.
I'm a big fan. I go there about once a week with my coworkers. Its also a great place to get a sandwich before the Mariners play. My favorite is the chicken cheese steak and fries with Old Bay. Their regular cheese steak is good as well, but I like the chicken better. My friend from Jersey loves their food and has to get a stack of tasty cakes every time he goes.
Plan to go before or after the lunch time crowd if you want to find a seat. It gets packed fast.
The guys working there(owners as wellI presume) are very friendly and always glad to see you.
