What People Are Saying About P.F. Chang's

In Short – Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

OK FOOD GOOD ATMOSPHERE

by JohnAndrews98040 at Citysearch

Food was so so, Drinks were good. Sit at the bar so you don't have to wait for a table. Love the atmosphere though. Go there for the drinks and not for the chinese food.

Perfect!!!!

by dyanna1983 at Citysearch

I just returned from an amazing experience. The food was perfect! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! I had two young children with me and everyone seemed so patient with them. We got our food in a very timely fashion. They have this new amazing Ahi Tun dish with green tea noodles which is to die for. The manager was so sweet, he touched every table to make sure everyone was good. Highly recommended on this end.

great customer service

by meatballseattle at Citysearch

I have been going to the pf changs in downtown seattle for around a year now and I just like everyone else has had their share of bad restaurant experiences. But in the times that I have been to this particular location I have found that the employees there genuinely DO CARE about the customers. The food is always consistent. I think most people come there and expect to be treated well and 95% of the time I get that service. I was at my table enjoying my food and some woman was talking about the server as if they were nothing. you have to remember these are PEOPLE not your servants and they have bad days too. the woman complaned for 20 minitues about the hostess and the manager ended up buying her meal. problem solved. drop it.

  • Pros: friendly service
  • Cons: trashy customers

Bad Dining Experience, poor customer follow up by corporate

by LABA at Citysearch

I just got home from a horrid experience at your downtown location. I used to go here regularly, especially since I work in the building, often referring our firm lunches to this location. This is something I will have to think hard about in the future. Upon entering a frowning, rude hostess looked up from whatever she was fiddling with and greeted us in with dullness. She did not know much about what was going on in the dining room. She wander for a little and then came to take us to a table near the entrance. I pointed to an open booth and asked to sit there. She told me that we couldn't sit there. Then I pointed at two other tables that were empty and, again, was told me wecould not sit there. She then informed me it was the table she had taken us to or we would have to wait. At the moment, a woman, a later discovered was the manager on duty took a couple to the booth I had just requested! We sat for some time waiting for the server to come, when I explained my disatisfaction to him he got the manager. She was not impressed. She also did not smile at all. Breifly after our conversation she spoke to the rude hostess, who spent the rest of our dinner glaring at us and then whenever she walked by sending me a fake, overly done smile. This was completely done to mock my complaint and further proves how rude she is. The food was okay but a little cold. Overall my WORST experience at a PF Changs and I had the pleasure of paying 58.00 dollars for the enjoyment of rude glares and cold food. I hope you train your hostess better in the future for her accomplishment this evening was perhaps permanently driving steady customer.

After this complaint I received a two line response. It was generic and something probably pulled from a training manual. DON'T EAT HERE!!!!!

Rip-Off Cocktails

by Zimberto at Citysearch

PF Chang's used to be a place to get a meal and a few cocktails, but no more. They recently reworked their cocktail menu so you now get less for more. $8 for a Marargita?? No thanks. I'll be eating and drinking elsewhere from now on.
