Perfect for a Rainy Day. It's a cozy little cafe, about 4 or 5 tables inside, 2 outside in the summer. A couple arm chairs are in the corner, a nice place to sip coffee and read. I love to sit next to the window and gaze at Greenlake while I work on my little laptop. The chocolates are pretty good hear, but the orange eclipse hot chocolate is to die for. And the European hot chocolate is basically a candy bar in a cup. Truly a treat.

I highly recommend buying the orange eclipse and an almond biscotti, then cozying up and watching the sun set over the lake. My only complaint are the baristas. I'm not really a fan of any of them. They're not rude, I just don't find them easy to talk to or very friendly.

Also be warned that service can be slow, but some of the drinks take time to make to be as good as they are. But sit down and relax while they're brewing the creation and you won't be disappointed.

best frozen coffee concoction, paired with poor service, decide what you can be ok with.. I decided to try chocolati after having read the reviews about it since I walk green lake every day, and really want to support local business if I am given the choice, I had the peppermint frosti and a pb truffle (only because I only had my debit card with me and if I have to pay an extra 50 cents for a transaction less the 5$ then I might as well get something) The truffle was 1$ and so yummy, perfect pb flavour!! The drink, it was one of the best I've ever had!! There was no grainy taste or syrupy aftertaste that 1 might find at a "big" coffee house starts with an S and ends with a bucks. My only complaint was the service, lose the attitude, if you dislike your job that much then quit. I did not tip on my card today because the barista did not deserve it, she was rude and not interested in answering questions about the beverage, if your selling it you should know your product to make recomendations to customers, upon hading her back the reciept I signed, she looked at it extra long and I was waiting for her to ask where her tip was, I would have shared with her why there was no tip. Having read the other reviews, poor service seems to be their MO so don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

in conclusion, beverages: delicious!!! and because they were delicious so I will return and that is why I gave 4 stars. service: leaves a lot to be desired, this is where the 1 star was lost.

Drinks are wonderful, but the service needs to be improved. The hot chocolate was the best that I ever had, but the service was so bad I might not go there again. Although there is a sign on the cash register that warns you about being patient. I suggest that you go, but don't expect Nordstrom Customer Service.

crazy rich chocolate. I went last night with my boyfriend and his cousin for dessert. It was a first time for all of us, and we were all excited by the display of chocolate in front of us. I ordered the turtle (hot chocolate with caramel and hazelnut), my boyfriend ordered the irish cream, and his cousin ordered the house hot chocolate. They were unlike any hot chocolate I have ever had! It had the consistency of melted chocolate bars, rather than chocolate flavored hot milk that you get in so many other places. We ordered the 8 oz size and it took us about an hour to drink it because it was so rich! We also shared a chocolate cream cheese brownie that was fantastic. The ambience was great. It's not the kind of place I would regular because of the richness, but it is definitely a nice occasional treat.

Good chocolates, scary servers. It is very unfortunate that this cute little cafe with good chocolates have such unfriendly servers. The servers seem to have permanent frowns on their faces. Today, I actually got lectured for not knowing the difference between a macchiato and a cappuccino. In the city, where there is a coffee house on every corner, I can take my business some place where I won?t be served any abuse with my latte.

I love the chocolate... but not the coffee or the service. I have been going to Chocolati for a while and initially I was impressed. I liked going there sometimes when walking around Green Lake. That is... until my last few experiences there. I was out on a date and we went to get coffees there. When we walked up, the staff had the door blocked with chairs. I asked what time they closed and they told me 15 minutes later than it was, only I couldn't even get in the door. When I said it wasn't that time yet, the woman working there just turned around and said that I was too late to be served - only they didn't close for another 15 minutes. It was terrible customer service. Needless to say, I waited a couple of weeks before returning. The next time we went, we ordered mochas and they were awful - bitter and the milk tasted sour. The guy who was working kindly offered to remake it, but the second one wasn't any better. I ended up tossing it without drinking it. I should have stopped there, but my friend used to work there. I thought maybe the third time would be the charm. No. The next time I was there the facilities were dirty, there was food on the floor, no paper towels in the bathroom, and they were out of chocolate to make mochas. I know every business has bad days, but this is was the last straw for me. Especially when there are so many great places to get coffee in Seattle. I will have to find another locally owned small place to frequent.

Warning: You'll Be Addicted. I've spent hours in this little cafe, reading and sipping a chocolate something, and I still get excited when I go by. In the summer you'll drink yourself sick on Chocolati Chills, delicious beyond all reason; in colder months there's a wide variety of flavored hot chocolates (Raspberry and Orange are my favorites, but there's also mint, double chocolate and espresso). There's shelves of truffles, cookies, cakes, creams, and marzipan--I try a new one each time I go. And hot chocolate like this can't be found at starbucks--in fact, once you've had a Chocolati, all other hot chocolates pale in comparision. Also has a nice walk-up window on the street if you're on the go.

Excellent Coffee, Great Chocholates and desserts. Nice ambience, great coffee, super tasty treats as well. Service is very friendly, and in coffee shops these days that's an added feature.

User review by rsandresen. The coffee was decent and the ambience is nice. NO FOOD, though, so if you want someting with your morning coffee, look elsewhere. That being said, the chocolates are AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for the chocolates.
