Sort of disappointed

As a lifelong carnivore, Brazilian steakhouses are some of my favorite places to indulge. By far my favorite is Texas de Brazil, which I try to eat at every time I am in Ft. Worth.

Seattle has Ipanema, with unfortanately pales in comparison. For the price, the quality of meat, service, and atmosphere is just not up to par. It has too much of a casual atmosphere and the meats were a little dry in my opinion. The staff seemed overworked and a little annoyed.

The salad bar was pretty good, however. If there was a half-off Groupon available I would probably go back, but for without a discount I think I will save my money for somewhere else.

LackLuster at Best

Whenever I travel, I love to eat at Brazillian Style Steakhouses. Many have includued Fogo de Chao, Pampas both in Culver City & las Vegas, Fogo De Brasa, and a few others. This was by far the worst.

The Service was terrible. Slow to fill drinks, Salad Bar was so so, there was at least a 20 minute lull, were they didn't even come by the table with anything.

The Meat that they did bring had too much salt & pepper. They tried to bring Bison & Boor but those failed too impress. Never going back for sure.

Beaware of Rip Off Garage recommended by Brazillian Grill

We have been there three to four times and the experience have been positive except for today, It's a good place for meat eater and expect a big variety of meats. But today they kept coming back with top sirloin steak, pepper steak, and pork sausage most of the time. The six of us stopped eating quickly because were fed up with the same meat over and over.

The biggest surprise came when we picked up our car at the recommended parking garage ("Ipanema offers a partial 10% parking validation at the Harbor Steps Parking Garage".. With the 10% off advertising on their web site, we paid close to $21 for less than three ours.

We called the restaurant and complained about it. I was first told that nobody could address my concern. When I asked for the manager I was told that the manager was not available. I dropped the call and called again and insisted talking to the manager and he finally picked up the call. He kept declaring that the restaurant had nothing to do with the parking garage and could not control the garage either. I reminded that this is the recommended parking from their own web site and he should not have declared this. After a long discussion he reluctantly agreed that they should do something about their web site. We will see, Through out the whole conversation I could not detect any sincereness.

I would have given them better rating if not for the inconsistency of food and the surprise. AFter all we are there for the food AND how we are treated right?

Great Place to take guests

I had some friends from out of town visiting from the mid west so I wanted to tak them somewhere fun and different. I am so glad I did! We had such an experience and they can't stop thanking me for taking them there. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was really fun and upbeat and the service was fantastic. This is my new go to place to take guests in Seattle!

Amazing!!

Came here with a large group of friends for a birthday party and had lots of fun. The food and drinks were great the service and attentiveness was really good. Had a BLAST!!!!!!
