Ok for drinks - -but not worth it.
The service and ambience are my main complaints.
Service: Slow, ineffective, absent at times.
I barely had a menu in my hand when the waitress said Are you ready to order?... Um no... Can I look at the menu first? Then when I told her I was a vegetarian her response was thats too bad. She didnt offer any suggestion or anything. And when we were finally ready to leave (and boy was I ready to leave) it took about an hour to get our check settled, because like most of the meal she was MIA.
Ambience: REALLY loud dance music that thumps through out dinner that was accentuated by 4 the bachelorette parties taking place that night (I guess this is THE place for the bachelorettes).
If you want a fancy drink it is a pretty place with pretty people but have dinner elsewhere.
Food Is An Afterthought At Ibiza.
Tapas rule the menu here as well as a diverse selection of entrees. Foodwise, the execution is merely passable. But the real draw here are the magnificent cocktails and beautiful people who linger around the circular bar and teeny dance floor. Service is swift, friendly and non pretentious.
Ibiza would be a nice place to start your bachelorette party or for a get together with friends you haven't seen in awhile. The sound level is loud, the lighting dark and buzz is exciting.
Worst Customer Service Ever. Great ambiance, cool customers, the worst manager and waitress I've ever witnessed. Don't bother unless you want to fight with piss-poor customer service.
Bad hostess. I went in at about 10'o'clock on a saturday night finding out that there was a 10 dollar cover. My friend and I were planning on having drinks and appetizers which would total well over 10 dollars a piece. The hostess said it would only be waived if we had dinner. I think that is a bunch of crock. What kind of service is that? We left!
Great atmosphere. In seattle for a weekend and heard about this place and checked it out with my boyfriend on Saturday night. Very nice loung atmosphere. Definately a hip/younger crowd. Drinks were fabulous. I had a Mango type Martini that rocked! Staff was very friendly, lots of pretty things and people. I am from Vegas and this reminded me a lot of the ultra lounges we have here.
Great food, even better drinks... From the moment my boyfriend and I walked into Ibiza, we were largely impressed with the overall ambiance. The service was exceptional, the management was very hands on, and the trendy atmosphere made for great people watching. It was hard to choose only a few items to try from the sophisticated, extensive menu. What we did try was delicious and we were very impressed by the different tastes. The drinks were phenomenal and are well priced. Overall we rate Ibiza within the top of our favorite restaurants in Seattle!
Great Drinks, Just Eat Somewhere Else. This place started off with so much potential. The atmosphere was great. Wait staff was friendly. The drinks were unique and fabulous (they have a great selection of cocktails, each one tried were fabulous). Then the food arrived and we weren't sure what had happened. The food was boring, boring, boring and when they say small plate they actually mean tiny. After a very expensive meal, we left hungry.
Glamour has arrived in Pioneer Square and it comes bearing Seattle's favorite tapas-and-cocktails combinations..
The Scene
Seductive style abounds, from mirrored wall panels reflecting metallic gauze to high-backed white booths that curve around the dining room. Low couches and ottomans are perfect for glamorous cocktail hours and seat appropriately glamorous patrons. The trendily dressed staff's attention to detail shows, from the reservation to the coat check--glasses are full, plates move swiftly, and smiles are on every face.
The Food
The biggest successes are found on the smallest plates--spicy pork empanadillas, thin slices of intense Serrano ham and simple wedges of fried potatoes with thick, peppery dipping sauce or classic aioli make a fine meal in themselves. Unfortunately, the entrees don't measure up: Succulent coconut lamb has an odd clash of flavors, while the sauce surrounding perfectly grilled salmon is nearly tasteless. Vaso de Crema is a dessert worth saving room for: A crisp orange meringue tops a generous cup filled with creamy mousse.
