Mission serves modern Latin cuisine with hints of Yucatan, Spain and Oaxaca mingled together in exciting fresh combinations, which will satisfy your hunger and please your palate. Try the fresh margaritas to quench your thirst and then finish off with sinful molten chocolate cake or other home made postres.

The atmosphere at Mission combines contemporary architecture with sultry old world charm. Sit in a cozy booth, lounge on couches upstairs or take a table overlooking the action on the mezzanine. This is a great place for a candle lit date or to invite friends and take advantage of the group seating areas.

Mission also offers a private bar and lounge for parties up to 40.

The Scene
Lanterns, dark wood and high ceilings--think Frieda Kahlo's Mexico--have a sexy appeal more appropriate for late-night drinks than an after-work taco fest. A long bar and a cozy mezzanine are ideal for casual chats, while the booths that run along the opposite side offer dimly-lit corners and plenty of privacy. Servers are generous with their opinions, and mix casual friendliness with professionalism when it comes to drink refills and requests.

The Food
Start off with the chunky guacamole and plantain chips-- the perfect companion for a cool mojito or margarita. House-made tortillas form the base for both fish and steak tacos; neither are particularly spicy, but fillings are cared for and plentiful. The heap of poblano mashed potatoes that come with the steak skewers are a side dish worth fighting for; don't be afraid to be selfish. Desserts--flan, warm chocolate cake and Mexican chocolate ice cream--are all delicious.
