The WORST.
They charged me at least 4x what it should cost (and that was 20x the original quote) and the lock didn't work! They were rude, wouldn't answer the phone, and I ended up pay another company $240 to
break me it (it locked me out the first time I used it due to poor workmanship keying a cylinder) and fit their bad cylinder.
Run, screamin, in the other direction!…
Complete Ripoff. These guys charged $200 more for the same job I had gotten done a week before. I refused to pay and they said there is nothing they can do about it. They charged me $200 for a $14 lock. NEVER go to this company trust me!…
Horrible lying cheating stealing..
This company charged my credit card and never completed the work. Here's the quick story.
I called this company to get the locks on my front door changed. Technician arrived at rental property roughly on time (5 minutes late). I had to leave so I gave him my debit card number and assumed work would be completed for agreed price ($300 for two doors). 2 days later, by debit card is billed for $325. My tenant emails me a few days later asking when the locks will be changed. It turns out he never completed the work.
I've called the company many times, been hung up on, put on hold indefinitely, told a manager would call be back on two occassions, told to call back during different hours, etc. etc. After a month, I'm giving up and writing off $325 to this LYING SCAMMING COMPANY.
Yes, I intended to yell lying and scamming. Probably doesn't help to yell "company" but that's what happens when you're pissed.
I just wish I had taken 10 minutes to read these awful reviews.…
BAIT & SWITCH - run away from this locksmith!.
This locksmith firm was, on the phone, misleading about both response time and cost.
1.) Arrived the following day vs. half hour later
2.) Required +$100 more than quoted on the phone.
I sent him away after he arrived.
Call anybody else.…
Phone quote vs. real charge - ridiculous. I locked my keys in my car and called these guys. The phone estimate was $39 for the service call and $29 for the work. When the guy got to my car, he took a look at the lock for about 2 seconds and turned to me and said, "the service charge is $39, and the work cost is $179." I had to have him repeat it three times before I could believe what he said. I explained that the quote was for $39 (service) and $29 for work (estimate). I get that it is an estimate, but $179 to unlock?! I told him I wouldn't pay that much money and he said "what are you going to do? your keys are still in the car?" I replied "I will pay your service fee and call another company, I don't care how much they charge, but I am not paying you $179 to unlock my car!" As it turns out, we negotiated to a $100 fee. [Note: I have had to call a locksmith a couple times in the past, but I have NEVER paid more than $50 total. I am stunned at what these locksmiths think they can get away with]…
