Seattle >Spice Restaurant & Lounge
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. A mix of original dishes emphasizing bold flavors from India to Mexico.
Sorry th aviator, but I think I can name it.
My sincere condolences to 'th aviator' for the unfortunate loss of his palm pilot. I myself have lost cell phones and all the vital information stored on them. I empathize with the disappointment, but must disagree with the unfavorable review and 'blame game'.
If a person leaves Spice between 1:30- and 2 AM, it would be on a weekend when they feature salsa dancing and world beat nights. These nights are popular and busy. I would say it is unfair to place blame or any accountability on the restauarant, or its employees, for a personal mistake. I personally see no validity to the comment, except the fact that they admit losing their property.
I can not name it!. I was invited to a party couple weeks ago. And our group was the last ones who were leaving this place around 1:30-2:00am. Next morning I notice that I forgot my palm pilot on the table, I went back to check, it was gone! All my good! Recommendations are disappearances since, the employees werent trustable ( Of course NOT ALL but, least the person who was in charge of our table)

Private Birthday Party in December.
I hosted a 30th Birthday Party here and that went off quite well. The employees, managers, and owner were delightful to work with. While we didn't try much of the food, drinks were great and the setting was perfect. I had over 150+ and everything went off without a hitch.
Since then, I've dine there a few times and have been impressed with the cuisine. The presentation was superb, flavor was great, and the menu wasn't overwhelming. Drinks were incredible. I very nice mix of styles and tastes.
I plan on having more events of varying sizes here and suggest it to all of my friends for a nice dinner with a great feel.
Great Food!. My company held its Christmas Party at Spice. Everything was great. I had the Argentinian rubbed steak, Delicious. The appetizers, the meal, the drinks, the desserts, the service, and the ambiance were all terrific! I would definitely recommend the place, and will be returning. The chef makes everything special with meticulous detail in presentation and great recipes. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.
Friendly, Classy, Fun, Affordable. I've been to Spice a few times and every time I left glad to make that choice again (I guess I can consider myself a regular). The food is very good from a 12 midnight burger to the most sofisticated prawns dish. The service is very welcoming and fiendly. As for the live music, I was surprised to be there for high quality live Latin jazz (with no cover) and even better, I recommend the Friday eve Latin party! The environment was hot, fun and peolpe didn't stop dancing. I can't wait for their Saturday's evening dance nights.
Great ambiance great food great times. I had a chance to check this place out and I was pleasantly surprised! This guys have a very affordable menu with great unique dishes. I was lucky enough to check them out on Friday which turned into a Latino dance place after 10:00. My friends and I had a great time! I highly recommend this place to anyone.
An excellent menu adventurous dishes. Spice was an unexpected pleasure for our Saturday evening. We were just looking for a place to dine on 5th Avenue, but what we got was a wonderful culinary experience. Starting off with cocktails, I tried the Carnival their "Mango Mojito" which I highly recommend. Then my girlfriend ordered a series of appetizers including the Peking Purses and Duck Samosas, each was its own small masterpiece. The curry sauce for the Peking Purses deserves some kind of award. For the main course, my Ribeye Parilla hit the spot perfectly. Didn't have room for dessert afterwards but we'll be back to try that next time. Don't miss this terrific understated restaurant. It's a gem!
Great happy hour, great dinner. The food was great, we tried 3 appetizers and each had a dinner entree. The happy hour prices are very cheap, but it has the feel of a very upscale restaurant, without being uptight. The pork chop was surprisingly large and cooked through, not undercooked as many "upscale" places feel they need to cook a chop.
