BEST Permanent Make-up ~ Tawnya

BEST Permanent Cosmetic Artist ~ Tawnya Lemley!!

I originally found advanced Skin and Body Solutions because of a Groupon. The Groupon was for a microdermabrasion...Tawnya did the microdermabrasion and it was the BEST I have had so far (I have been to 4 other cosmetic offices) the next day I had baby butt smooth skin, and it lasted for a few more.

BUT what has been the GREATEST experience was that through this Groupon I found Tawnya. I had permenant liner done 5 years ago (almost completely faded away) and it wasnt even close to the quality that Tawnya did.

I did the upper and lower eyeliner, and its almost perfect...Tawnya really cares about getting it right, and getting it to what you like. She is so good, and has such a great personality that I am saving my pennies as so I can get my lipliner shading done.

As for the salon it is a very clean and comfortable office...if I had more money I would go everyday for something :)

I Love this place...

I think this is the best, the best, spa, skin place in washington. I went to 7, yes 7 places over the last 2 years trying to find a good place. This is it. My skin is so like my babies. haha I feel like I won the lottery prize or something.

Excellent Permanent Makeup

I went years with butchered, patchy eyebrows that never fully grew back after a few bad episodes with a tweezer (by my own hand and an overzealous makeup artist).

For years I contemplated having them tattooed, but I was really freaked out and it seemed expensive.

Now I wish I had gone to see Tawnya sooner. She did a great job and took extra time to make sure that I got the result that I wanted. It was a two-step process; first she did a thin line of my brow and I came back a few months later for a free follow up to handle any touchups and changes necessary.

I honestly wanted a quick solution and coming back didn't sound like fun, but I now know that it was because she knows what she's doing and it's important to get permanent makeup - especially brows - just right.

She talked to me about what look I was trying to achieve, what I liked/what bothered me ... and didn't make me feel rushed.

It is amazing to wake up in the morning with eyebrows. I realize millions of women do it everyday, but it had been a long time for me. It saves me a huge amount of time and stress and I wish I had done it years ago.

I feel much more confident, and now can go swimming without fear. I would strongly recommend going in for a consultation if you have any doubts. Tawnya is very laid back and will put you at ease.

The only criticisms is that appointments never seem to be available after 4 p.m. during the week and are only available on the weekends every other Sunday. I suspect this salon typically serves the kept women of Bellevue - which is cool, I don't judge. But as a working woman it's tough to get an appointment for this kind of luxury treatment M-F, 9-5.

Nonetheless, five stars.

Glamourous Lashes, Great Price, Nice Folks

I was happy that a place with such good prices did such good work. These days, customer service is difficult to find, but this place has a very caring and pleasant staff. For only $100, I had a full set of lashes applied for an office Christmas party. They are running a special right now so I saved quite a bit of money so make sure you ask about specials if you call. Last night was my party and I had many compliments on how great I looked, but I don't think anyone was really aware why! They are so natural looking that no one will think that your wearing false lashes. I would highly recommend Advanced Skin. Ask for Tanya because she was great!
