Tips for Kismet Salon

good little salon. It is a nice salon conveniently located near my place, so I can walk their with a stroller. I must say that they are very friendly and dd their best to entertain my little one while I was having my hair cut.

Heather is definitely a person to go to if you need a professional flawless cut, however one of her girls managed to do it as well (it took twice longer though).

All-n-all I'd go back for another try.

Like their background music too!

Best haircut, always!. It is very hard to find a hairdresser who is reliable and always makes you feel good about yourself and how you look. Heather is the person who always makes me feel look younger, very professional and confident. She is the best find of the year for me! Thank you Heather!

Great Facial. I just got their signature facial and I loved every second of it. The staff knows what they are doing and when I want to treat my self again I will go back. You should too!

Amina is fantastic!. I've been getting my hair done by Amina at Kismet for the last year. She is great with my color (lots of tedious foiling) and is very meticulous with my haircut. She has even come in on her day off to accommodate my schedule. Amina is truly a gem - always has good ideas and is a joy to chat with! One other huge plus - she doesn't double-book. I've been at many other salons in Seattle where a stylist will try to squeeze in a haircut with another client while my color is processing. Not at Kismet. Amina is very attentive to what her clients need and values their time. Keep up the good work!

Great value for a great cut!. I highly recommend Heather at Kismet Salon! For 3 years now I've been getting my hair cut by Heather (the owner) at Kismet Salon . She is a very talented stylist and gives me a beautiful, precision haircut -every time - no surprises. The Aveda salon is funky, clean and fun, there's cool artwork gracing the pink walls and always a great mix of music playing. The front desk gals are professional and friendly; I often call last minute and they're always good about calling me right back and finding an appointment that fits into my schedule. I am a very satisfied, loyal client!

promising, but not recommended. I really want to love Kismet Salon. It's in a good location in Madrona with other cute little stores surrounding it. The owner is very friendly, and the salon is funky with music to match. Some Avedas are a little too twinkle ding dong - you know, where the music is water rushing and xylophones playing - but not this location.

My problem is the insane turnover, and the lack of experience. I get my hair foiled and I keep it short, so I have to go back every 4-6 weeks. Every time I would call, the hair dresser I had last time would have left, so I'd have to get a new one. Every time, the girl would be straight out of the Aveda institute, and would be annoyingly slow at applying the foils. On top of all of that, they're wildly unprofessional. One girl went out to smoke while my hair set (don't need to smell that, thanks), another girl kept insisted that I must party all the time and would only talk about how much she drinks, and yet another girl never said a word to me and only make tons of inside jokes with another stylist in the salon, laughing and talking the whole time to the point that I almost felt bad for invading their space.

That being said, I never got a bad cut or a bad foil from this salon. I just don't appreciate the attitude or the turnover. Guess I have to go back to a twinkle ding dong salon to at least guarantee the quality of the stylists.

Best Haircut I've had in Seattle!. I just got my hair cut by Jenny Hart at Kismet yesterday and I LOVE IT! It has been forever since I have been able to go without pictures or a clue about what I wanted and come out happy. She asked a few questions, got a feeling for the texture of my hair and then worked her magic! It was like she read my mind and gave me this effortlessly beautiful do!

Thank you Jenny!
