In Short – Plain white walls and a shiny tin ceiling enhance the vibrant colors of the shop's hip clothing lines. Owner Amanda scours trade shows and other venues to bring new lines to Seattle, showcasing unique clothes from up-and-coming designers that aren't found in the bigger department stores. Bags, shoes and locally designed jewelry are also in stock. The splashy paintings on the walls are part of rotating shows from local artists.

I just moved to Seattle and LOVE this shop. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The clothes are hot and the selection seems to change a lot. I would send any of my fashionista friends there.

This is a great boutique- friendly owner, not pushy and a GREAT selection of clothes and accessories. There is a nice price range too, something for for everybody! I also love Laddie, the sweetest 3-legged pup around!
I have bought jeans, a dress, a belt and a tank top to name a few, wearing them all over and over!
La Rousse is the coolest boutique in Seattle

Having lived here for 6 years, I've heard people rip on Seattle's lack of style countless times ... these people have not been to La Rousse. The clothes you'll find there are a perfect mix of darling to edgy. Whatever hole you have in your wardrobe, La Rousse has something to fill it. I've also noticed that the local artists on display there have been fabulous. Right now, George Perrou's work is up -- it is delightfully colorful, and very reasonably priced. One last note -- new clothes, shoes, handbags and jewelry are arriving all the time -- so it's worth making La Rousse a regular stop in your browsing routine.
