Having actually worked at Osaka Sushi for a short period of time I hope I can give some further insight into the so so food, spotty service, and most of all, the sometimes scary overly aggressive behavior of the restaurant owner. Upon being hired, my understanding was that I would be paid minimum wage plus tips once I started taking customer's orders. After only a couple days of training, I started waiting on tables as we were severely understaffed and a couple of the new recruits had quit after just a couple days because the owner was so ridiculous in her demands. Some days she would leave me completely alone to wait on the entire restaurant. Granted, the restaurant isn't that big and was often not full but I was new to being a server and working by myself with multiple tables was often frustrating and stressful. After working there for two weeks I received my "paycheck." The owner gave me my hourly wages and $20 extra because she was "so nice." She had pocketed my hard earned tips of two weeks (probably more than $150). When I asked her whether I was getting my tips or not, she said that I had to pass a menu test before I would receive any. She had not mentioned this when she hired me and denied having not told me before. I was livid to say the least and quit after a couple more days. If you want better sushi and better service, don't go to Osaka. I would recommend Shun (by university village)

Pros: None

Foods are bad. Services are bad. Also, it's a very expensive place. I will never go back to Osaka. Of course, I will not recommend my friends to there as well. Please don't waste your time and money to this horrible resturant.

Cons: everything
