Surprisingly disappointing

by drink_milk

i went in there with my girlfriend for a nice little sit down coffee and it sucked big time. The expresso was cold. the service was dumb and i will never go back to that place again. Didn't they used to be a coffee house? Guess now it's just about serving local drunks.

Best local bar, excellent drinks

by daveycakes

Lotties has really become the place to be in Columbia City. You can still get a good beer for less than 5 bucks, (get a Rasputin and you can get drunk for less than 5 bucks!). The mixed drinks are top quality AND strong AND not too expensive - and there's usually a house infused vodka flavor for drink specials. It's October, and I got sloppy on some homemade pumpkin martinis just last week - I guess that makes me a drumpkin pumpkin. The food is excellent and reasonably priced - especially the locally made sausage. All in all, you can go to Lotties to study during the day, drink at night, eat, chat, whatever. It's Columbia City's non-pretentious neighborhood bar. I just hope that it helps to keep things real in a neighborhood that is threatening to become the next Fremont 90210.

You can't beat Lottie's for great service and the best regulars around. There is a reason that people keep coming back to Lottie's. It is come as you are and what you are just what is wanted at Lottie's. Whether you are looking for a fabulous bloody mary brunch (there are four different kinds, from the classic to spicy to cool!) or a place to meet friends after work, Lottie's is tops.
