Hotels >Deca Hotel Seattle Hotels
Really great movers. I stay here when i come back up for business. THis is the greatest hotel in Seattle. It has the most welcoming and helpful staff. It has a great atmoshphere and there is alot to do in the surrounding area! Great for small business trips
Thin walls for your ears, the smell of urine for your nose. We stayed on the 5th floor in room 512. We were at the mercy of the sounds from the elevator, and because the walls are thin those sounds dominated our time there. In addition to that the smell of urine (from a previous guest) seemed to grow more pungent over the course of our overnight. This is a glorified party hotel, and the young staff doesn't seem to mind. On a positive note the rooms do look nice, and if you get a room facing southwest you'll enjoy a great view of the city and Mt. Rainier. Be sure to inspect your room before accepting it.
A beautifully decorated oasis.. Granted, the layout of the room was fairly standard. Nothing exciting. But, the decor of the room overcame the layout. It felt like a luxury room (and, for the price, I admit I expected that). But, despite being downtown, the room was quiet and restful. The location is great. Walking to the UW campus was easy. Walking to Husky Stadium wasn't as easy, but it was pleasant. Just leave in plenty of time for the game. We really didn't take advantage of all the hotel had to offer, but it was a relaxing oasis in a busy weekend and the staff were incredibly nice and accomodating. I didn't even worry about my car out in the parking lot... we just walked everywhere and it was fine. The lobby with its huge fireplace was a great gathering place and we didn't feel rushed to get out of there. I highly recommend this place.
What a fab hotel!!!.
So this was my first experience with a hotel, (rather than a motel). My boyfriend and I are both college students, but we saved up and decided to splurge a little bit on a nice weekend to Seattle. And I must say I was very pleased with our experience! Everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly, one of the gentlemen who ran the front desk recommended a fantastic Italian restaurant and even offered the call set up dinner reservations for us. The breakfast was very good, I was kind of worried about what kind of selection they would have, but they had a large variety of food: fruit, coffee, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, juice, and the list goes on! The shuttle was also very nice all we had to do was call from downtown Seattle and they came and got us!
The hotel also has great location. Right next to the lobby is a Tully's coffee shop, (try the smoothies, they're the best!). There are numerous banks all within walking distance and tons of places to eat! There's also a little hole in the wall theatre across the street.
Memorable stay ... for the wrong reason!. Nice hotel ... just that they got into our room (a mix up?) and took away the refrigerator ... got rid of the baby bottle/food and shopping from Pike Place Market. On sensing that we were a bit upset ... they fished the stuff from the trash and got it back to us! Hey, talk about great service!!
WONDERFUL AMBIENCE. we stayed at hotel deca during my first every trip to seattle. it was a wonderful experience. the atmosphere, the mood, everything, was totally unexpected. to me, hotel deca is seattle. its funky, offbeat, and original - just like the city. i plan to stay there again.
Best views in Seattle!.
the jewel of the udistrict!!!!
i did not know that a hotel like this existed outside of the downtown area. competitive rates and the best views around (if you're not an executive at safeco). free parking, free internet, free breakfast, and flat screen tvs!
there's a bar in the basement with live music on weekends and the rooms are huge! A++++!
You have to stay to belive it!!!. Great Customer Service, Fabulous Views, Complimentary Parking, Comfortable and Boutique Style Rooms, Coffee Shop, Fitness Center and Complimentary Shuttle Service, are only some of the things that this great hotel offers. The best views in all of the Seattle.
The classiest hotel in the U District has much to offer university parents and business travelers..
The beautifully decorated lobby with its rich 1930s influence sets the Art Deco tone of the rest of this popular North End hotel. The 158 guest rooms live up to the lobby's pace: sleek, stylized furniture, modern Hopper-esque wall paintings and splashy bed patterns contribute to the feeling. Rooms on the higher floors have sweeping panoramic views of Seattle. Amenities include free Wi-Fi and a complimentary continental breakfast.
The best views in Seattle. What a fantastic place and the views are incredible. We stayed in room on the 12th floor ansd there is nothing to compare in downtown Seattle. Also parking is FREE!!!
