Watch Out If You Order Sake!. On a recent visit here, we ordered a large chilled sake. When it came out, it was obviously watered down! The waitress sampled it and agreed and kindly got us the real thing. However, they still got the better of us by not listing the sake prices (our mistake for not asking). We discovered the price when the bill came-a large sake was $17.50. A "large" here is about 6 ounces, in other words, not large. Just a warning.

Super Sushi!!. This is the best sushi on the planet! Chong is a master and makes you feel like you are a visitor in his wonderful home. The aura of the place is serine and pleasant. The service is impeccable. You MUST try the Shabu Shabu! Great cheap lunch spot!

Pleasant Experience Time and Time Again. I've been to Akasaka many times and have never been disappointed with the experience. They are reliable, prompt, and really do have some fantastic quality sushi, surprisingly better than many downtown restaurants. It is a hidden gem in Federal Way.

Surprised. I was pleasantly surprised by the food at this place. I know the Korean population in the Federal Way area is high, but this place is very good. The quality of the sushi was excellent and the hot pots were very tasty. I will be back for more.

Quality Sushi. I have sampled many of the sushi restaurants in the Seattle area. I go out of my way to visit this one again and again. Be prepared for a "relaxed" pace and superb quality sushi. The sake, hamachi, and toro are consistently wonderful. The chef makes the best caterpillar roll I have had.
