Seattle's BEST Colorists. I first went to Salon Blast after a hair disaster. I had my hair cut in a home salon, and immediately regretted it. Asking friends for advice, I was referred to "Tim the Hair God, " at Blast. Tim Wilson is amazing. And I experimented with other stylists in the salon, settling on Juan Lopez. His professionalism and expertise make my hair look amazing on a regular basis! He always does what I want to my hair, has professional and stunning ideas of his own, when solicited. I appreciate his personal approach, his care and consideration. And the rockin' hair I walk away with! Juan's the best, and Salon Blast is the place to go in Seattle for *great* hair!

Salon Blast's Juan Lopez keeps my hair looking it's best!. I know that I can trust my hair to Juan Lopez at Salon Blast because he has the experience and knowledge that great hair stylists need to deliver the best cuts, color and highlights available.

He has never let me down in the least. In fact, he has outperformed all other stylists that I've had in the past.

In addition to his professional skills I also appreciate his sweet demeanor. He has a wonderful "bed-side manner" and a great sense of humor.

It's always a pleasure to see Juan and always leave him with amazing looking hair. :)

Hair Stylist Juan Lopez. I have gone to many Salons in Seattle to find not only a good hairstylist but also someone who gives incredible customer service. Juan not only meets my requirements for service and knowledge of hair, but exceeds it by far. I work in the fashion world and have a very strong personality and know what I want, but what I appreciate is that not only does he taylor the styles I am looking for but he is also very upfront and honest with what is good for the health of my hair and face shape. I could not ask for more out of a stylist. Having a great sense of style with the Knowledge behind it to make precise recommendations is what makes Juan so amazing, So, if your looking for a hair stylist that actually knows what he's doing I encourage you to go see Juan and Salon Blast! You will not be disappointed...

I am not a review junkie, But Love Tim's Cutting, and Colori. I really love this place. It is not a super hipster Salon, but everyone is super friendly, and tends to their people with skillful eyes. I am a people watcher, and love taking in the attitude of professionals who love their handy work.

In College I had a roommate with a plaque that said "The only man a girl can trust is her Daddy."

A girl needs at least two men she can trust in life: Daddy, and her hair stylist.

I have been a follower of Tim Wilson for 4 years. I get raves about my blonde color all the time and wouldn't trust these strands in anyone else's hands (when let's face it, lots of colorists think big, chunky, obviously highlighted streaks look good since you see it everywhere. I don't have great hair to start with, so I don't know how he manages to cut it so it seems to have some life! All I know is, the one time I strayed, I was told by my secretary, the most brutally honest person I know, that I needed to go back to him. Enough said for me; I'll never cheat again for the sake of convenience!

Thanks for my Color, and Cut. Never in my life did I think I would become that crazy weirdo girl. You know, the, the one who wants to follow her hair stylist to hell, and back. The one man who I enjoy and fully trust in cutting my unwieldy locks. I devoted what seemed like hours to Google searches in attempts to locate a hairstylists who could wield a good pair of cutting shears so I might feel fabulous once again. My heart-pounding anxiety was subdued when I made an appointment at Salon Blast with Tim Wilson; it only disappeared once I sat in the chair and had official confirmation I was back in safe scissor range.

Salon Blast is comfortable with gorgeous, simple decor, and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Though I can't speak personally to the other hair stylists there, the fact that the hair washing is so thorough and detail oriented is reason enough to make an appointment. My inclination is to strongly recommend my guy Tim to any curl-rockin ladies, but I'm not sure I am selfless enough to encourage other girls to getting an amazing haircut only to become even hotter.

Moral of the story: If you have curly hair, and want to be ugly, don't go see Tim

Best Hair Salon Ever!. I had a great experience at Salon Blast! Tim knew exactly how to cut and color my hair. I love my new look! I highly recommend Salon Blast. Thank you so much Tim!

THANK YOU JUAN FOR THE NEW LOOK!!!. I'm a transplant from LA and after carefully searching through the web for a new salon I came across salon blast, I went to their website and researched each stylist carefully. When i came across Juan's profile and read it I knew he was the stylist for me. I loved that he mentioned that he was from LA also and loved gardening.

When i came in i was greeted by one of the stylist in the front with long hair and thought to my self "I want her Hair". Ithen was approached by another stylists and asked if i wanted water, tea or coffee while i waited, little did i know that was Juan , he was warm and friendly.

Juan was a good listener. He gave me an amazing cut but above all a kick ass new hair color. Ive always wanted to be a nice chocolate brown with a few highlights. He gave me just that.

Thank you Juan for your hard work on my hair, see you in 6 weeks. your stuck with me!!

My Dental Hygentists,and coworkers have commented. Yesterday....a new hairdo, by Timothy (the owner of the salon).

I drove all the way from Lynwood to see Tim, well worth the trip! In fact, I went twice...once for a consultation, and again last week for color, highlights & cut.

I was there for awhile, a few hours....but the entire process took much less time than at other salons, by far. Timothy obviously is a master at doing highlights in record time. And the cut....he tuned into exactly what I wanted, short & choppy.

I'm pretty much blond now, thanks to a zillion highlights, & I love it.

I've never been so pampered at any salon. I was offered beverages, handed magazines, asked how I was doing under the dryer, you name it. I'm learning that you probably gotta go to Seattle for all this.....and so I shall, in the future.

Some years ago I used to go to a place in Bellevue, in the heart of the mania, where parking even in the public lots was often nonexistent. As soon as I have time to get dolled-up & put on make-up, will post a pic of the new beachy, carefree 'do that has already turned a few heads. Do blondes have more fun.

So-So Experience. I had an okay experience with Mariah at Salon Blast. The cut was good, except about 2 inches too short- I've worn my hair up for a week since I had it cut. But the thing that's been bothering me is her attitude. She was very condescending to me, laughing at me often. In all honesty, I didn't think she deserved the tip I gave her, but I was too afraid of not giving her something, since she was the only one working at the time. I have very low self-confidence to begin with, and my experience at Salon Blast, coupled with the too-short cut, made me feel very small. I'm hesitant about going back when my hair grows out, because although I like the cut, I can't take the hit to my self-confidence again. Perhaps I should try someone else at the salon?

Antonio is a hair guru. Yesterday I went into salon blast to get a much needed haircut. Another salon in town had chopped my long hair into an uneven choppy disgusting bob.

This is the first time I ever went to blast and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. Antonio is so amazing at the art of cutting. I mean when I walked into the salon he already knew what kind of haircut I wanted. He blended the haircut and angled the layers beautifully. My hair looks like a sexy short cut and I love it.

Aside from being a great artist Antonio is intellectual and witty, which makes me want to go back to him again and again.
