Yumm. I love blue c sushi there is no better place in town for some good, cheap sushi!

easy and inexpensive place for lunch. Easy and inexpensive place for lunch -- $15 for two of us, with a couple plates each and sharing a plate of edamame beans. They have both counter seats and booths, so it would be easy to be there with one other person or with a group, and the conveyor belt is fun. The sushi is not the best I've ever had, but it's decent for the price and tastes fine, and we had very attentive service from all the waiters.

So much fun!. I love it here! I am not a huge sushi fan, so I tend to stick to the basics: spicy tuna, california rolls, veggie tempura, salmon nigiri, ect. They make everything just how i like it, and its cheap! Not grocery store cheap, but cheap enough to eat as often as i like!

Great Sushi, Great Price, Great Atmosphere. I have officially been to all of the Blue C Sushi locations and they are all very different. I think Southcenter is the best because the food seems the freshest. If you go to University Village, you will usually have to wait for a meal, but it has the best atmosphere. Fremont is the origional and the most nostalgic, and Alderwood has the best service. I really love this restaurant, and its a great place to bring sushi novices! Plus the Happy Hours is awesome!

Dirty and yucky. NOTE: This is for the Alderwood location!

I took relatives to Blue C because I heard it was good sushi at reasonable prices. From several people! We sat down and I noticed right away that the plastic barrier between the sushi bar and the conveyor belt was filthy. Wiped down poorly with streaks and saucy looking splatters on it. Yuck. The novelty of the conveyor belt was cute, for about five minutes. The five minutes it took to decide which sushi we wanted that looked decent. When we tried it, I seriously thought we would've been better off getting the pre-made sushi from Trader Joe's. We were not impressed. Service was lacking, the waiter barely came around and our table got messy and cluttered with the plates and those dumb covers. I write this as a public service announcement: if you're contemplating trying Blue C for the first time, DON'T!

Poor Service. Since we first visited this restaurant back in 2006, it has seemingly gone downhill. The tables aren't as clean as they should be. What was once "fresh" looking, is now dull and grey. There is a definite lackluster to their decor. They also removed some tables, so there is a longer wait to be seated! Goodness, and is it an imposition to expect them to even come by once in awhile to check on us? We watched as some of their waiters and cooks were joking with one another, laughing, playing around behind a low counter, thinking we couldn't see them? How absolutely immature. All this, while we still waited for water! How long does it take for them to get a clue? On a couple of past visits, we discovered the waiters miscounted the dishes and we were overcharged! So, be leary and watch out for those potential mistakes. Their tempura has definitely gone downhill......Soggy and oily is what we got on our last 2 visits. My gut was hurting a half hour after our meal was finished. Try going to "I Love Sushi" in Bellevue if you want qualified and trained Sushi chefs (from Japan) preparing your meal.

Not all that jazz...it's "ok". Atmosphere is fun, but the sushi and service aren't worth it. The conveyer belt is interesting and the colors are bright. The sushi takes awhile to be refilled and isn't the best quality or price, the wait is long (small dining room for the demand, but when I went there in Sept 07 they were under construction), the staff isn't all that attentive. Worth going at least once but don't spend all of your $ there.

Ok in a pinch. Although the atmosphere is fun and the service is reasonably pleasant and no one hovers over you, the sushi isn't all that great. I'd much rather go to one of the other local, Japanese restaurants. If you go later in the evening, the conveyor belt is depressingly empty, and what is there looks a little sad. They'll make it for you fresh, but it still doesn't make it more appetizing.

Tasty and Entertaining. I love going to Blue C when I have a craving for sushi. The customer service is at your request so you never have to worry about being interrupted and can spend time actually enjoying your meal. Items are also constantly revolving around the room, making it easy to accumulate a stack plates before you know it. The University Village location is always packed on the weekends though, so give try it in the late afternoon to avoid a long wait.

Overpriced sushi, but excellent ambiance. Great sushi, great ambiance and lots of variety. However, the sushi's overpriced and you can wait a pretty long time if it's busy. I'd advise people that want cheap, quality sushi and are not worrying about ambiance to head over to sushiland because you can get the same thing at half the price. However, I don't blame people who choose Blue C over Sushiland because the ambiances are on two totally different sides of the spectrum
