In Short – Huge jars of tea dominate one wall of this tiny Pike Place shop; another is taken over by a chef's dream of spice and herb jars. Spices and teas are both ordered at the counter in ounces. Tea is organized by black, herbal and green, and the friendly staff is happy to provide recommendations to the overwhelmed. The shop also offers a nice selection of teapots, spice racks, mugs and tea gift boxes.

Great selection of bulk tea

I love this store and go there all the time to get their loose tea. I am a big tea drinker, and I get different kinds of tea every time I go. My favorite is ginger peach, apricot, peach ambrosia, tropical, very berry, gen-mai-cha...and so many more! They have a variety of spices you can buy in bulk, which is awesome because you can buy a little at a time, so your spices are always fresh, not stale!

If you do end up buying loose tea, pick up a package of do-it-yourself tea bags--they look like Kleenex packages and are covered in Japanese characters.
