Welcome to Ravenna Third Place Books -- the deliberate and intentional creation of a community of booklovers, a fun, comfortable and safe place to browse, linger, lounge, relax, read, eat, laugh, play, talk, listen and just watch the world go by.

Ravenna Third Place Books, a sister store to Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, is located ten minutes north of downtown Seattle, and five minutes north of the University of Washington. Surrounded by a supportive neighborhood of strong readers and politically active residents, Ravenna Third Place Books serves as the community's "third place" in many ways. The store also includes The Honey Bear Café, serving espresso, baked goods, soups, sandwiches, and more. Downstairs is The Pub at Third Place, a lovely beer and wine pub with a full menu, and local history on the walls.

I can't say enough about this pub, it's like the west village meets the northwest...LOVE IT. AMAZING Sitka Spruce carved tables all salvaged from recycled old growth, NOT CUT FRESH. Meticulous when it comes to details,... and the lighting. .... let's just say EVERYONE LOOKS GOOD. Brand new construction, amazing staff, funky cool neighborhood, oh.. to boot, there's a coffee shop/bookstore in the same building, it's like a whole afternoon in one building. Forgive the structure of my sentences and placement of commas, just go and you'll have a new favorite pub. ... period.

Pros: amazing details, great staff, cheap food..but good
