Breads and baked goods are a real art in Germany. This place is no surprise to the one- in-the-know. Mouth watering bread(s), pretzels, rolls or any other baked goods that you'll be lucky to find there are the best around.

Seattle's only German Master Baker

As a bread snob who has lived in Germany, I can attest to the fact that this is the only bakery in town making real German rye and Laugenbroetchen. The apple strudel is great too. It is worth going out of your way to get bread made by Seattle's only German Master Baker. The Meisterbreif is hanging on the wall.
- Pros: Real rye breads and Laugenbroetchen
- Cons: A little out of the way in Ravenna
