Japanese-inspired sweets at a neighborhood hangout. This family-friendly Phinney Ridge bakery (which now has a sister store in Ballard) doesn't limit itself to the usual bran muffins and croissants. Flavors like azuki bean, ginger, green tea and white chocolate define the pastry case, while savory croissants, soups and sandwiches round out the lunch menu. The baristas also pull a mean iced Americano. Fresh Flours' proximity to the zoo means you may be sharing the space with strollers and toddlers, but there's surprisingly ample seating indoors and outs.

Great Pastries and Coffee. Wonderful selection of pastries. I have to go back again and again to try them all. They're the best I've ever tried. It's a comfortable place to hang out as well.

Pastries with a makeover at this Japanese-influenced bakery hidden on top of Phinney Ridge.. In Short
This modern-feeling bakery offers traditional baked treats with a Japanese twist: sweet red bean brioche, sweet potato tarts decorated with poppy seeds, green tea pound cake and lemon-ginger muffins topped with candied ginger. Green tiles and marbletop tables cozy up the otherwise white space; free wi-fi sweetens the deal. The lengthy tea list includes a matcha green tea latte and black teas in exotic flavors like blood orange and ginger tangerine.

Great pastries!. By far the best muffins (blueberry is the best) in Seattle.
