Great breakfast even at lunch time!.
My wife and I had trouble finding a restaurant in downtown that serves breakfast items in the late morning/during lunchtime. Then we stumbled across the Planet Java Diner.
The food is great, and the staff is happy to customize your order based on your tastes (my wife likes her hash browns inside her breakfast burrito, and I like scrambled egg whites).
I was a little apprehensive not knowing what to expect from a "diner", but I was happy to find Planet Java very clean and not smoky/greasy.
This is now our favorite breakfast spot downtown -- highly recommended!

Editorial Review.
This 50s themed diner in Pioneer Square serves up American classics like shakes and burgers in classic red vinyl booths.

great pregame dining.
I hate doing this review because this is such an undiscovered gem of a dining place before games. But I like to try to support small businesses any way I can. Located within easy walking distances of both Safeco & Qwest. Inexpensive breakfast & lunch items cooked to order. Fast & friendly service. TVs to watch early games. The best bacon in Seattle. Parking is on the street and can be a problem at times.
