Chiropractor amazing during my pregnancy!!

I started going to Oncken Chiropractic a little while after they opened. At the time I suffered from severe low back pain and crippling headaches. Dr. Oncken relieved both of those ailments, all while counceling me on nutirition, supplements, wellness and all around health.

I was already grateful for the amazing care I received, but never knew how grateful I would be until I was about 7 months pregnant with my first child. I began getting severe low back pain, and shooting pains down one of my legs. At one point I was actually afraid I was in back labor, the pain was so severe. I went to Dr. Oncken first thing the morning after the pain started, and after the first visit the pain was lessened substantially. I continued seeing him throughout the rest of my pregnancy. It was then that I learned how Chiropractic care can help a great deal with shorter labors and easier pregnancies all around. I would recommend Oncken Chiropractic to anyone, pregnant or not! He has made my life better through his extraordinary care.

Great all around care

I was always skeptical of chiropractors, but after trying everything (medical doctors, physical therapy, pills) and not getting any better, I gave in and started going to Dr Oncken on the recommendation of a friend. I was experiencing extreme ear fullness, dizziness, neck pain, and extreme fatigue, and I'm happy to say that after treatment from Dr. Oncken for a few months, my symptoms are almost completely gone. Further, he recommended using a foam roller for knee pain I was experiencing (IT band friction) that had kept me from jogging for years. I went from being able to jog barely 1 mile with several days in between to 3+ miles for days in a row without knee pain. It's hard to think about how miserable I was a few months ago when I'm feeling this good now and continue to get better. I am no longer a skeptic and highly recommend Dr. Oncken.

Stellar Dr. Oncken

Forgotten what it's like to be pain free? Yeah, me too. Before my days at Dr. Oncken Chiropractic, for years, I was popping pills like candy. all the pills ever really did was take the edge off.. Not so awesome. I was going through my day to day thinking my pain was just another part of life. I know now it doesn't have to be this way. HALLELUJAH! The best part.. being pain free is pretty effortless and seeing my outstanding chiropractor Dr. Oncken is such a pleasure!

Not only in Dr. Oncken a wonderfully extroverted and incurably optimistic people person, he knows and genuinely cares about each one of his patient individual stories and needs.

This awesome chiropractor is more then qualified to get you on the road to pain free happiness. He also has a stellar background;

Dr. Oncken has special training in: whiplash and brain traumatology, advanced sports injuries, structural rehabilitation of the spine and extremities and treatments that are specific for instabilities of the low back, pelvis, neck and shoulder areas.

It is a pure joy being a part of this office. I really have enjoyed meeting and getting to know all the great people that are under Dr. Onckens care. The feel of the office is uplifting, lighthearted and positive. This awesome energy brought in and maintained by Dr. Oncken really attracts in good people. As soon as I arrive I feel so welcomed not only by the good Dr. but welcomed with open arms by all the patients too.

I'm not totally pain free, but after only five months I'm an incredible 80% better! He's a miracle worker! Go, even if you haven't been in a car accident or a slip and fall thing. You deserve to feel better don't you? Stop taking pills and suffering the side affects. Go to Dr. Oncken feel better, take control of your body, throw away the harmful pills that only temporarily cover the endless problem of pain and let Oncken Chiropractic better your life.

I will never go back to another chiropractor besides Dr. Oncken

Being 6'5" I have always struggled with posture and back/neck pain. I grew up going to my parents chiropractor because that is just where we went. They did an ok job, but now I know that it wasn't good enough. I had to go in at least once a week, if not more, to get adjusted because by back would start to hurt again. It was as I like to call it, a "Band-Aid Fix." After getting in an automotive accident one of my friends referred me to Dr. Oncken....and I have been thanking him ever since. It is a whole new experience at Oncken Chiropractic. His knowledge of why things happen and how to fix it astound me. I have not had one concern that he has not been able to ease, if not entirely eliminate the pain. My posture has improved substantially, and my overall wellness is the best it has been in a long time. Both Josh and his receptionist are such friendly and amazing people. It is all about customer satisfaction nowadays and these two set the bar. Although the commute is a little out of the way, it is worth it. To have the adjustment, traction, and massage all done at the same place saves me a lot of time with my busy schedule. I have, and will continue to recommend everyone I know to Dr. Oncken. I am a patient for life.

• Pros: One stop shop. Friendly staff. Nice location. Ease of appointment time.
• Cons: It would be nice if they had warm chocolate cookies and hot chocolate for me when I show up. Just Kidding.

Best Chiropractor in Seattle Area!

There is no need to go anywhere else. Dr. Josh Oncken and his staff are professional, knowledgable, and eager to bring you back to health. Sounds like a staff member is writing this review, but, actually, I am a patient. I couldn't recommend a better chiropractor and a better overall experience.

I can say with confidence that you won't be disappointed. He and the staff have improved some of my long-term back problems and every penny (he is very reasonably priced) has been worth it.

I couldn't say enough good things about the entire experience. There's no risk in seeing him and having a consultation. Go for it!
