Good floral, wine, liquor, cheese and seafood departments. Also check out their housemade soups and guacamole.

Tips for Metropolitan Market Queen Anne

The best meat and seafood in the city!. The staff here is amazing. Sometimes they seem fairly busy but if you talk to them they will do anything for you. As far as quality goes, no market in the city is better. Trust me I've been to them all. I have hosted a few events over the years and they have been able to find whatever I was looking for. To summarize, I just love Metropolitan Market.

EXCELLENT FLORAL DEPARTMENT. Absolutely, without a doubt, the best floral department in Seattle. They recently did the flowers for my daughter's wedding at Semiahmoo Resort and it was an incredible display! EVERYONE was raving about the flowers. That's all people could talk about! The wedding manager at Semiahmoo got calls from people wanting to know what florist we used. How lucky people who live on Queen Anne are to have such a talented group of florists.

Sample your way through this lavish grocery store overflowing with gourmet goodies.. In Short
Top-quality food is displayed like fine art: Meats are arranged like sculptures, pastries like jewels, vegetables like a Dutch still-life. Vibrant chalkboards mark the aisles and clever ceramics denote individual kiosks. It's not all show, however. Knowledgeable and cheerful staff--some trained in France--explain cheese rinds, aged beef, food and wine pairings and the best chocolate cookbook, and the store is one of the best places in town to discover those hard-to-find gourmet items.
