Little girl rip off.
I brought my 5yr old girl there for a Mommy / daughter date. We had really looked forward to getting a pedicure together and had arranged ahead of time for the pink cupcakes and pink lemonade.
When we arrived they said we were early and would my daughter like her hair done. Of course a 5yr old wants her hair done so up she went in the chair. The "gift" picture was taken after the cupcakes and lemonade were gone. My pedicure took longer and while my daughter waited they handed her "goodies" and when she brought them to me I asked if it was part of the pedicure or a gift. Oh no, just thought she might like these. I was not happy that they offered all these things to an unsuspecting 5yr old and charged me a rediculous amount for using a curling iron on her hair and dumping some sparkles on her head. If you go, be prepared to say NO to everything they try to tack on or bring twice as much $$$. - Took advantage
Seattle's Hot Spot for Beauty!.
Ooops! One slipped through the cracks....so sorry!
Thank you for the feedback. We made some changes and were confident that every experience here will be spectacular!
Lily's Pampered Salon. It is an adorable place but that's about it. I have to say I was not impressed with the services. I took my daughter for a mommy and me pedicure for her birthday. Her pedicure only took 10 minutes and mine was not much better. It was basically just a color change and not a very good one at that. We only received one coat of color and it was very messy. For $55 it was not even close to being worth it. I am so disappointed because the salon has so much potential to be great.
rockin hair and makeup!. The girls that work at Lily's are fun and always smiling! They have fun hair and style and created such an experience for my girlfriends and I. We got our hair and makeup done for an affordable price...and had so much fun it was a great day!! We love you Lily's Girls!
My new favorite place!!!.
Lily's Salon is the cutest place ever!!!! As soon as I walked in the door I was put in a good mood. I got the best cut by their new stylist Marley. I always feel good about a hair dresser when they have good hair and Marley has the coolest hair. I also got my nails done and I love how I got to pick different jewels for my fingers. There is also tons of jewelry and other pretty things for sale.
I highly recommend that people of all ages should come check out the salon and get pampered!!!
Manicures, Pedicures & Pampering, Oh my!. If you haven't heard about Lily's yet, you're missing out on one of the Northwest's best finds! A full service salon, (which means moms are welcome too!) Lily's especially caters to little ones, offering up "mini-manicures" & "mini pedicures" among a list of other pampering treatments you will find here. The birthday parties are over-the-top fun for the kids & oh-so-easy on the mom! They do it all for you so you can relax & take pictures or leave & go upstairs for some pampering treatments for yourself! What could be better? We've been to Lily's many times and the kids can't wait until the next birthday or special event so they can come back again, and I don't mind taking them when I can get some much needed relaxation myself!
Lily's. What a sweet salon! My 10 year old daughter had a wonderful time. She got a great haircut and a mini pedicure. She loves her haircut and felt very grown up getting her pedicure - complete with a feather boa while her toes were being tended to! We had a great experience and we stocked up on cute holiday gifts for her friends at check out. They have great inexpensive gifts. Enjoy! We did!
Cute Haircut!!. My 2 daughters got wonderful haircuts and left with the cutest style and a sweet clip. The stylist was fun and the girls had a great time talking with her. My oldest wants to start using make up and they gave her a lesson on skin care and how to appy make up. I so recommend this cute little salon.
Poorly skilled stylist--spend your $$ elsewhere!!.
I've been a Lily's client for about two years now, and have always had a great experience. I have two daughters, 4 and 2, and they both have come out with great haircuts and a good experience. However, they recently lost their great stylist, Kim, and hired someone new who I really can't recommend. I took both my girls there for a haircut this week, and while the stylist was friendly with the girls, she did a sub-standard job on both their cuts. My 2-year old looks alright (who can really style baby hair anyway?) but my 4 year old, who has straight hair that Kim always quickly and easily styled in a lightly layered bob, has a terrible haircut! When I asked the stylist to clean up the back and layer it a bit, she got very defensive, and then became really short with my daughter, obviously frustrated that she was distracted and wiggly. If you can't handle distracted, wiggly kids, you shouldn't be cutting kids' hair. That's why I don't do it.
In the end, the cut looks moderately better, but still has strange uneven parts and none of the cute style that I've become accustomed to getting at Lily's. Until they hire a different stylist, I'm not going back, nor could I recommend it to anyone.
Perfect Children's Salon. My daughter and I got our hair cut at Lily's and it was an amazing experience. The cuts were great, the stylist was very friendly with my daughter and it was surprisingly affordable. While I was waiting for my daughter's hair to be styled I received a free makeup consultation and I picked up some great birthday gifts as well. We are planning to come back for her birthday party in December!
