In Short – The bright, sunny dining room has a row of windows looking out onto Rainier Avenue, a checked tile floor and cheerful walls. Families from Mount Baker and beyond sit at retro diner tables simply adorned with daisies or share booths; singles prefer the long lunch counter. The menu offers updated comfort food, with dependable standards like burgers (accompanied by sweet potato fries), BLTs and breakfast items.

Great Place for breakfast. the biscuits and jam are unreal! I've also been there for lunch and I was not let down. Worth the wait on the weekends.
- Pros: friendly staff, great food
- Cons: long wait on the weekends

I went here over the weekend and had to write a review. This place is worth raving about! I can't believe how good the French Toast was and the Herbed Goat Cheese with Salmon was cooked perfectly. I am always in search for a great breakfast place and I have finally found it. Its a very happy place and the service is excellent. Portion size was right on. The owner seriously knows what he's doing when it comes to breakfast. I cant wait to go back :)
- Pros: Best Breakfast in Seattle
- Cons: None
Yummy comfort food - worth the trip to Columbia City if you are not in the area.

I have been to Geraldine's twice with groups of five, once for lunch on a weekday afternoon and once for breakfast on a late Sunday morning. Both times the service was friendly, maybe a little slow but only due to how busy they are.
Everyone at my table was very pleased with the menu options (vegetarians and carnivores alike!), and equally pleased with the quality of our meals and the service we received. I received prompt, friendly service whether there as a business lunch or with friends and small children. Both times everyone at the table drove out of their way to go to Columbia City and Geraldine's - worth it, we will definitely be back!
- Pros: Great service, yummy food
- Cons: Plan on a 15 minute wait or so
